Rituals are simply spiritual practices we've done over and over again...a well rehearsed pathway to the divine. What rituals are in your spiritual tool belt?

Every guest brought a story. Every conversation opened a door.

Together, they reminded us that the altar is not only where we lay things down, it is where we lift ourselves up, reclaim what is sacred, and come back to ourselves, our divinity.

These are the voices and stories of At My Altar with Trenda Lee. Come sit with us. There is a place for you here.❤️

On my podcast, At My Altar, I sit down with people to talk about their spiritual practices. This time it was with my daughter, Parisa. Before we got to anything deep, I had to tell her she looked like she was about to have her school picture taken. While we definitely talked about the sacred, we laughed the whole way there.

Parisa - feels deepy
On episode 10 of At My Altar with Trenda Lee, I sat down with my daughter, Parisa, and asked her when she first felt spiritual.
Her answer took me back to the little girl I raised, and also reminded me that I have been learning from her for 34 years now. I'd love to hear what resonated with you from this episode. Let's keep spiritually journeying together...

I started this show because I had questions nobody was asking out loud. Questions about the spiritual practices of everyday people and how they use them to stay connected to the divine (however they define that).

For a year I've been posing those questions to ordinary people. People with jobs and grief and kitchen tables. And they've been telling me about candles and singing bowls and morning walks, and so many other things.

What I found is that a lot of us have something... a ritual we keep, a place we return to, a few minutes that belong to no one else. What are yours?

The wisdom is in the episodes. And somewhere in there is a practice waiting to become yours.

Underneath every practice and every ritual is a path to finding our spirituality.

Take a listen to my guest Smith-Coppes as he eloquently shares his pathway to the divine. You might just find a practice you want to make your own.

Most of us think of a legacy as something you leave behind.

My guest sees it differently. For her, it's something her granddaughters are watching her build right now — in real time, one afternoon at a time.

So when the oldest one asked her to come skating, she bought skates. At 70. Never having skated in her life.

That's the inheritance. Not what she leaves them, but what they saw her do and what she did alongside them while she was here.
