So proud of Emily for presenting her research at the SNT-E Conference!

She shared research exploring:

🔹 To***co Use & Psychological Distress Among LGBTQ+ U.S. Adults — examining disaggregated identities, product diversity, and mental health burden.

🔹 Testing a Continuum of Risk Graphic with Adults Who Smoke Daily: A Pilot Study — exploring how people who smoke daily respond to different ways of communicating risk across to***co/ni****ne products.

🔹 Risk Perceptions & To***co/Nicotine Products — examining intentions to quit smoking or completely switch to a lower-harm product.

It’s so exciting to see Emily’s hard work, dedication, and passion for research represented at SNT-E! Congratulations, Emily, on this fantastic accomplishment!

Are you a non-smoker? You can help researchers better understand lung cancer risk.

Researchers at the University of Minnesota are studying how former smokers and non-smokers break down a chemical called phenanthrene, which may help explain why former smokers continue to have a higher risk of lung cancer after quitting.

You may be eligible if you are over 35 and have tried va**ng. Participants will attend a virtual meeting, complete one study visit, provide urine and blood samples, and collect urine for 24 hours. Participants who complete the study will receive $300 for their time.
