MAKE AN RSV PROTECTION PLAN 💙💕

Before your next visit, ask:

✅ Has my baby already received an RSV immunization?
✅ Did I receive an RSV vaccine during pregnancy—and when?
✅ Is my baby eligible for protection now?

Some children ages 8–19 months at increased risk also qualify for protection during their second RSV season.

Contact Hope Harbor Pediatric Care. Let’s make a plan together! 💙

📅 TIMING MATTERS!

In most of the United States, infant RSV immunizations are given October through March.

Eligible babies born during this time should ideally receive protection within their first week of life.

Already home? Contact Hope Harbor Pediatric Care to discuss the best timing for your baby. 💙

DOES MY BABY NEED THE RSV VACCINE? 👶🏽

RSV immunization is recommended for babies younger than 8 months entering their first RSV season when:

• Mom did not receive the RSV vaccine during pregnancy.
• Mom’s vaccination status is unknown.
• Baby arrived less than 14 days after Mom’s RSV vaccine.

Most babies do not need both forms of protection. Ask us to review your baby’s eligibility! 💙

WHAT IS THE RSV SHOT?💘🫁

Your baby’s RSV shot provides ready-made antibodies that help protect against severe RSV illness.

It does not contain live RSV and cannot give your baby RSV.

Have questions? Bring them to your next visit at Hope Harbor Pediatric Care. We want you to feel informed and confident! 💙

Remember this?!? It still applies!!!

What Is RSV?

Post:
🫁 RSV Awareness
RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) is a common virus that can cause cold-like symptoms—but it can be more serious for infants, toddlers, premature babies, and children with underlying conditions.

Knowing the signs and prevention steps matters.
