We are excited to announce that NC Pet Partners will be spreading extra love, smiles, and furry hugs at the 2026 Charlotte Walk to Defeat ALS!

We would LOVE for you to come out and join our team as we support individuals and families affected by ALS!

🐾 Be sure to stop by and visit Rocky the Newfoundland! Rocky will be joining his fellow NC Pet Partners therapy dog teams, helping spread smiles, comfort, and plenty of furry love throughout the morning!

You can find Rocky and his four-legged friends at the NC Pet Partners table, greeting visitors and sharing some therapy dog love. They will also be at the start and finish line cheering on walkers as they take steps toward making a difference in the fight against ALS! 🐾

🐾❤️ Hi friends… Rocky here! ❤️🐾

I heard it’s almost time for Love’s Grove Methodist Church’s Back to School Picnic, and I just couldn’t miss stopping by to see all of my friends!

Love’s Grove has become a special place for me. I’ve had so much fun visiting for Trunk-or-Treat, community events, and sharing lots of smiles along the way.

I’ll only be making a quick visit this Saturday because, well… this big, fluffy Newfoundland coat and North Carolina summer heat don’t exactly make the best team! But I definitely wanted to stop by to welcome everyone before heading back somewhere nice and cool.

If you’re looking for a fun way to kick off the school year, this is a wonderful event for the whole family!

Whether you’re heading to elementary school or getting ready for high school, I hope you’ll come out and enjoy a day filled with kindness, laughter, and community.

🐾 This past weekend, my heart grew just a little bigger. ❤️

Hi friends! It’s Rocky.

I had the honor of spending a few hours as a special therapy dog guest at the 2026 Pull-thru Network (PTN) National Conference. What an inspiring experience!

Families, children, teens, adults, and healthcare professionals traveled from across the United States—and even from other countries—to learn, connect, and support one another while navigating colorectal and anorectal conditions. I was honored to do what I do best… share gentle hugs, comforting cuddles, and lots of tail wags.

One of the highlights of my visit was meeting the incredibly talented Angelea Yoder, author and photographer of Look at Me, Look What I Can Do!

Her beautiful book celebrates children of all abilities by focusing on their strengths, talents, personalities, and everything they can do. It’s a wonderful reminder that every child has unique gifts and deserves to be seen for who they are—not defined by a diagnosis.

I also enjoyed learning about Let Them Stare® movement. Its message is simple yet powerful: when someone looks different, don’t turn away—choose kindness, start a conversation, ask respectful questions, and celebrate what makes each person unique. Understanding begins when we’re willing to see beyond appearances.

My human is excited to share this inspiring book and the Let Them Stare® mission with libraries, children’s hospitals, and others throughout the Charlotte area so even more families can discover its uplifting message.

Thank you to everyone who welcomed me with smiles, hugs, and gentle pets. Although I was only there for a few hours, I left with a full heart and so much admiration for the incredible strength, resilience, and joy I witnessed.

As Angelea’s book reminds us…

Happy Birthday MaSue!!! Thanks for always being my biggest supporter, best back rubber and never minding when I switch into extra slow mode on our walks! Wishing you a paws-itively wonderful birthday filled with love, laughter, and extra treats!

What a paws-itively amazing day at the Church Of God Children’s Home of North Carolina! We enjoyed games, music, face painting, great food, and so many smiles.

I even got my annual snow cone and, of course, plenty of my favorite thing—belly rubs!

I love attending this special event each year as a proud representative of North Carolina Pet Partners, sharing the love and comfort of being a therapy pet with the children, staff, volunteers, and friends at the home. This year was extra special because I even got to bring Nana along to share the fun!

A huge thank you to GSF Foundation for their continued partnership and all they do to serve our community.

Another fun-filled year at the annual Bottoms Up Regatta! While Dad was sailing, I got to spend time hanging out with my buddy Kane. 🐾

This year I also got to stop by and say a quick hello to my ALS friends at the ALS Triangle Walk. 💙

Team Stella came in 2nd place, and we had such a great time relaxing at Kane’s homestead. A huge thank you to Olivia and Christian for the wonderful hospitality and for always making my family feel so welcome.

So grateful for special days like these filled with fun, friendship, and memories.
