Sometimes the loudest noise is inside your own head…

And sometimes the deepest peace comes from connecting with your own body.

Food affects your nervous system. It fuels your brain, your body, your hormones, your life.

Depression? Anxiety? Burnout? Sarcopenia? Hair loss? Yep. Nutrition matters.

Yes, I’m a sound healer. Yes, I’m a yoga teacher.

I’m also a certified holistic nutritionist. Surprise. šŸ˜‚ But that’s kind of the point.

I live by example, not by ā€œtrust me, bro.ā€

I didn’t get educated so I could sell knowledge. I did it because I wanted to be happier, healthier, stronger and more present in my own life.

I don’t talk about nutrition much, but I’m constantly sharing recipes—things I actually eat that don’t taste like punishment.

I’m gluten-intolerant. Perimenopausal. A lifelong athlete. And I like to EAT.

Not a fkn rice cake and a salad. Actual food. šŸ˜‚

So here’s one of my favorites: a breakfast wrap roughly the size of a puppy and a giant macro bomb.

You need:
1 cup egg whites + pinch of cornstarch
3 eggs
¼ cup cooked ground beef or carne asada
¼ cup ricotta
Mediterranean seasoning

Preheat oven to 400°.

Whip egg whites + cornstarch on high about 4 minutes, until they look like whipped cream.

Line a cookie sheet with parchment, lightly spray with avocado or coconut oil, spread the egg-white fluff about 1ā€ thick into an oblong shape, season, and bake.

Meanwhile, scramble the 3 eggs with your cooked meat and a little sea salt.

When the wrap is done, transfer it to a cutting board, spread ricotta on one end, pile on the eggs + meat, roll it up and cut it in half.

Done. About 14 minutes.

High protein. Satisfying. Gluten-free. Actual food.

✨ And for me, it knocks out more than half my daily protein goal for roughly a quarter of my daily calories.

Plot twist: There is no masterclass.
There is no ā€œcomment SNEAKY and I’ll DM you the recipe.ā€
I do not need your email address. šŸ˜‚

Zero agenda. Just eat the giant puppy-sized breakfast wrap. Thank me later.

So many AI options exist for everything in our life. But can it deliver genuine, coaching, and caring and proprioceptive awareness? Can it help you achieve certain physical and mental states without empathy or the ability to truly understand the experience?

AI can tell you to move your leg in a certain way, but it doesn’t have a leg. šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø

I recently saw a meme about someone who went rock climbing, trusting the guidance of ChatGPT and it showed them dead at the bottom of a ravine. Obviously kidding. And then ChatGPT’s response, ā€œmy bad. I should’ve seen the error in my instructionā€¦ā€ Obviously you won’t die doing yoga, but when it comes to somatic and physical experience, as well as mental and emotional experience, I think it’s important to invest in a source that actually, well… experiences it. Rather than describes it from curated theoretical information.

I don’t know, if I want to learn facts I go to Chat GPT but if I want to have a physical experience, then I choose a physical guide.

Bob Proctor offers one of the simplest and most elegant explanations of manifestation and abundance:

We don’t get what we want.
We get what we are.

So perhaps the work isn’t simply asking for more. It’s becoming available for what we say we want. And then taking action from that place.

And that requires receiving. And receiving requires allowing. From a sense of safety, peace, and grounded certainty.

Last night, we explored the subtle distinction in gratitude and receiving. Gratitude asks us to notice what is already here. Receiving asks us to stop resisting it—to allow ourselves to actually have it, feel it, experience it.

Gratitude is noticing.
Receiving is allowing.
Abundance is both.

Sometimes anxiety is a message.
And sometimes your nervous system is just asking for the basics.

Food. Movement. Sunlight. Fresh air. Connection. Less stimulation. A little space between you and the screen you’ve been staring at for six hours. šŸ˜‚

We can spend a lot of time trying to think our way into feeling better when sometimes the body needs to go first.

Move. Breathe. Eat something. Go outside. Call someone you love. Put the damn phone down.

And if your nervous system could use a longer exhale, I’ll be creating some space for exactly that this weekend at LaNoue W**ery. W**e, sound, stillness, and absolutely no requirement to have your s**t together. šŸ¤

We spend a lot of time talking about abundance as something we create.

More money. More opportunity. More love. More freedom. More of whatever we believe will make life feel fuller.

But…

How much are we actually capable of receiving?

Not achieving. Not earning. Not manifesting harder. Receiving.

Can you accept a compliment without deflecting it?
Let someone help without immediately needing to repay them?
Enjoy something beautiful without thinking about what’s next?
Recognize what is already working without immediately identifying what still needs fixing?

Receiving requires a different kind of practice.

It asks us to soften some of the effort. To notice. To allow. And perhaps to recognize that abundance isn’t always somewhere ahead of us.

Sometimes it’s already here.

Sometimes that’s all we need. Pause, breathe, reset. ✨

There is an enormous industry built around becoming.

Become healthier. Become happier. Become more productive. Become more regulated. Become more successful. Become the highest version of yourself.

But I’ve become increasingly interested in a different question:

What could happen if we stopped trying to become for a moment — and simply created enough space to notice what’s already there?

Sometimes what feels like exhaustion isn’t a lack of discipline or resilience. It’s the weight of carrying things that no longer fit — old identities, expectations, relationships, coping mechanisms, even dreams we’ve outgrown.

This is part of why I believe so deeply in movement, sound, breath and self-inquiry. Not as ways to fix ourselves, but as ways to create enough quiet to actually hear ourselves.

The work isn’t always about adding something.

Sometimes it’s about putting something down. And making space for what we truly want to hold.
