Participants will explore the relationship between lying, sitting, and standing posture; recognize potentially destructive lying postures; consider whole-body alignment, comfort, pressure distribution, and safety; and examine assistive technology options ranging from readily available materials to specialty positioning systems. Case examples from the RESNA Position Paper will demonstrate how LPCM can be incorporated into everyday routines as part of a comprehensive 24-hour approach.
