Want to see what inclusion looks like? A high school marching band sets the bar for us all.

"Inclusion means making accommodations that allow a person to participate in an activity in a way that works for everyone. Often that means getting creative. Sometimes it means thinking outside the box. But it always means putting compassion and empathy ahead of rigid rules or traditions."

I wish more people would take notice!

This is humanity at its best. Well done, Oñate High.

We received this email about a special visit today. Being a parent of a child with limitations, my team and I strive to make Animal Adventure accessible as possible, to allow all guests to enjoy the fun that is the park.

Today, a young boy that is blind, experienced a giraffe kiss. The photo speaks for itself.

THIS needs to stop! Not all disabilities are visible! NEVER judge a person for parking in a handicapped space if they have the proper credentials.

It’s stuff like this that helps restore my faith in humanity!

Initially, the plan was to let a Virginia high school senior with cerebral palsy run a few yards before being "tackled" via two-hand touch.

The other team displayed great sportsmanship and cheered him on as he ran for a touchdown instead! More: http://via.fox59.com/Z8pHq
