Hey! My name is Ashley Bertram. I am certified personal trainer, independent certified Revelation Wellness instructor and group fitness instructor at the YMCA of Muncie. I help break down barriers for women to begin moving their good bodies, God created, for reasons far beyond a number on the scale or dress size. What does it look like to virtually train with you, Ashley, and how much does it cost?

First, when you express interest, I will email you a preparticipation health-screening and questionnaire form. We’ll have an intro meeting where we discuss your medical history, goals, breakdown barriers about exercise, discuss what exercises you like/dislike, what has/hasn’t worked for you in the past, where you’d like to exercise and answer any questions you have. This intro meeting does not lock you into any commitment.

When you’re ready to commit, I begin training clients for an 8 week period.

The 8 week personal training package looks like this:

- I collaborate with you to create a personalized 8 week exercise program based on your medical history, equipment access, time and goals
- 3 (one hour) virtual sessions per week: I watch your form, give you tips, instruct & demonstrate proper ex*****on of exercises, offer alternative exercise modifications as needed & provide encouragement through your sessions.
- Text Message or Marco Polo access to check-in with me Monday-Friday for accountability or questions.

After 8 weeks, we can re-evaluate your goals and discuss how you’d like to move forward. You don’t need me forever but I am here for you when you want my support!

Intro meeting (1 hour): $25
8 week personal training package: $300

My last day at Planet Fitness is in 4 days. These binders held 9 months of programs with dozens of amazing people who trusted me with their deepest hurts, insecurities, fears, family life, dreams, exciting milestones and physical health.

I will miss them and I’m so thankful for the friendships I formed 💛

• Move your body for 15 minutes for 20 days in December. It doesn’t matter what 20 days or what type of movement.

• Entry fee is $10. All participant fees go directly into a pool for the cash prize. Only participants who check-in all 20 days will be eligible for cash prize. Only ONE name will be drawn. Winner will receive cash prize via PayPal on January 1st.

Prayers were scribbled on notecards & spoken out loud in a noisy YMCA — holy ground can be anywhere you meet with God.

My last class of the year was full of laughs, some tears, sweat and prayer that will move mountains.

To move without pain.

If we all approached health & fitness from the mindset of what our 85 year old selves would want, I guarantee more people would exercise.

At 85, you won’t care about defined biceps, traps or abs.

You will want to get up off the couch with ease.

You will want to walk up the stairs without pain.

You will want to be able to walk around the zoo with your grandkids and great grandkids.

You’ll want to be able to get in and out of the shower, bed or car without someone’s help.

How do I know? Because I had these conversations with both a man and woman in their 80’s today and this is not the first time I’ve had these conversations♥️

It’s my goal to help others choose to move their good bodies for their mental, spiritual and physical health — not for a number on the scale, a pant size or cute mirror selfie of their defined muscles.

I will help you move well for life, if you choose it♥️

She’s been working with me for almost 5 months and in that time went back into the workforce after being home for 18 years because her mobility and confidence has sky-rocketed. This is my Gabriel, one of my most dedicated clients. One of his goals was to get to a 28 inch waist—he quickly accomplished this with me. He also has lost about 15 pounds since working with me in 3 months. He’s put in the work and remained consistent 💪🏽 He’s been through a lot in his life and I’m grateful to be by his side to celebrate his accomplishments.
