📢Qi Gong NOW AT ZOKAWA! 📢
After such great reviews from our introductory class last week, we are adding Qi Gong to the regular schedule beginning February 4th!!
🌟Qi Gong is an ancient Chinese practice that blends physical movements, controlled breathing and meditation to balance and enhance the body's vital energy, known as "Qi."
🌟It promotes physical health by improving flexibility, strength, and balance, while also reducing stress and increasing relaxation!
Did you attend our introductory class? Tell us about your experience in the comments!
Still beaming off the energy and connection from Rhythm Jamz the other weekend!!! Thank you again to our amazing musicians that each brought their own flare to this jam session and worked together to build the perfect music for this class taught by River. Fun fact: this was the first time these musicians have played together, some of them meeting for the first time that day! You’d never be able to tell, everything was so cohesive! Did you get to join this awesome event? Let us know what you thought in the comments below! And if you missed it, keep an eye out for future dates for another Rhythm Jamz!
An awesome ending to a magical yoga practice last night at Rhythm Jamz 2024! Our first (hopefully of many!!!) live music yoga events featuring music from local muncie musicians Jerry Hawk, Nick Foreman, Mike Martin, Jay Jones and Lathay Pegues!
Sutra1:1 “Yoga begins now”. And it’s always a new now.
For anyone who needs to see and hear this today, this is for you. I KNOW this is true, and yet, it seems to be a lesson I have to learn and relearn on repeat. I don’t want to be done; I am a committed soul and always aim to find the best in every person and every situation, even at the cost of my own peace of mind and soul. Yet, I also know that nothing is permanent. Nothing. APARIGRAHA: the art of non-attachment. Therein lies peace. A simple renewing sigh, a subtle turn in direction, a deep gratitude for all that has been good, and an easy release. That’s it. Learn to be done. It’s OK.
Opening spaces in the body offers 2 very important things: 1) a release of emotions, negative thoughts, feelings, and energy, and even unresolved hurts from the past; 2) cleared space to bring in and truly receive joy and brand new possibilities. ✨Join us for Yin Yoga on Wednesdays at 5:30pm.
Challenge yourself! Accomplish what you never thought was possible! See things from a new perspective!
Yoga is a transformative experience, and we love sharing that with energetic and inspired students.
If you have been a part of Zokawa for a while, thank you so much! If you are new here, welcome to our little community! Either way, we can't wait to see you try new things <3
