Just because I’m out of state doesn’t mean I can’t practice my civic duty. This will be the first time I’ve ever had to use an absentee ballot. I’m grateful that I can still vote for what truly matters. This one is personal for us. The men in our family, and my spouse, have all served, so we know firsthand what it means to carry that kind of weight, and how rarely there's space made to finally set it down.
