In just seven days, we’ll be back on River Road together.

The early morning. The nervous energy. The familiar faces. The volunteers. The cheers. The high fives. The miles along the river. And that feeling when you finally see the finish line. 🥹

Over the years, The Two Rivers Half Marathon & Ryan Bielke 5K has become so much more than a race. It’s been a place where goals were reached, PR’s were celebrated, friendships were made, hard things were overt, and a whole lot of memories were created.

And in ONE week, we get to do it all again. 💙💛

But before race day gets here, we want to see YOUR memories.

For our partners at Texas Physical Therapy Specialists, the upcoming Ryan Bielke 5K and Two Rivers Half Marathon is about much more than crossing a finish line. It's about remembering someone who meant a great deal to their team.

Ryan Bielke was part of the TexPTS family before leaving to attend physical therapy school. He had plans to return for a clinical rotation, but tragically passed away during his schooling.

Ryan loved staying active, spending time outdoors, and making a positive impact on others. Since the race began in 2023, Texas Physical Therapy Specialists has proudly sponsored the event in his memory and in support of the Bielke family.

Each year, therapists, staff, and friends of Texas Physical Therapy Specialists come together to participate, cheer on runners, and celebrate Ryan's life. Clinic Director Jared Smith has even run the half marathon every year since the event began.

This year's race takes place October 25 along beautiful River Road, with the half marathon beginning at 7:30 a.m., the Ryan Bielke 5K at 8 a.m., and a Kids Fun Run at 9 a.m. Portions of the proceeds benefit the Today I Get to Run Scholarship Fund in Ryan's honor.

It's a special event for a meaningful cause, and we're proud to highlight our partners at Texas Physical Therapy Specialists for their continued support of Ryan's legacy and our New Braunfels community.
