🩷 DAY 21 | 30 DAYS OF PINK 🩷
How many days, and in how many ways, can YOU wear pink? 💕

THREE WEEKS of pink and PURPOSE! 🎉 Thank you for keeping breast health and mental wellness in the conversation in our Black and Brown communities. Every shared reminder is an opportunity to encourage care! 🎀

🎀 Breast cancer awareness tip: Switching mammogram locations? Ask how to transfer your previous images. Comparing past and current mammograms helps the radiologist identify changes in your breast tissue. (cancer.gov)

💗 Mental health tip: If cancer is touching your life, tell your care team about changes in sleep, concentration, or anxiety. These symptoms deserve attention and may relate to stress, medication, or treatment. You deserve support for your mind and body. (cancer.gov)

👟 Are you planning on attending a walk? Join me on October 25th at Coney Island, Brooklyn, at 8 AM! Wear your pink and let’s walk together with love, hope, and purpose! 🩷

How many days, and in how many ways, can YOU wear pink? 💕

TWENTY DAYS of pink and PURPOSE! 🎉 From bold outfits to little accessories, we’re keeping breast cancer awareness visible in our Black and Brown communities. Let’s keep caring for ourselves and each other! 🎀

🎀 Breast cancer awareness tip: Don’t wait for pain to get a breast change checked. Breast cancer often doesn’t hurt. A new lump, swelling, or change in your breast or underarm deserves medical attention—even when it’s painless. (cancer.gov)

💗 Mental health tip: Persistent sadness deserves care, too. If you’re navigating cancer and sadness or loss of interest lasts two weeks or interferes with daily life, tell your healthcare team. You don’t have to manage it alone—support and treatment are available. (cancer.gov)

How many days, and in how many ways, can YOU wear pink? 💕

Nineteen days of showing up with PINK and PURPOSE! 🎀 Let’s keep sharing information, encouraging care, and supporting breast health in our Black and Brown communities.

🎀 Breast cancer awareness tip: A strong family history of breast or ovarian cancer may be a reason to ask about genetic counseling. A genetic counselor can help you understand whether testing would be useful for you and your family. (cdc.gov)

💗 Mental health tip: Replace self-blame with compassion. A cancer diagnosis is not a personal failure. If guilt feels heavy, share those feelings with a counselor or someone you trust. You deserve care without judgment—including from yourself. (cancer.gov)

How many days, and in how many ways, can YOU wear pink? 💕

Seventeen days in, and we’re keeping PINK and PURPOSE together! 🎀 Every outfit is an opportunity to encourage breast health conversations in our Black and Brown communities.

🎀 Breast cancer awareness tip: Follow up on your mammogram results! Ask when to expect them and whom to call. If you haven’t received your screening results within two weeks, contact your provider—don’t assume silence means everything is fine. (cancer.gov)

💗 Mental health tip: Notice when searching for health information leaves you overwhelmed. Pause the scrolling, write down your questions, and bring them to your healthcare team. You deserve reliable information and support as you process it. (cancer.gov)

How many days, and in how many ways, can YOU wear pink? 💕

From a pink scarf to your favorite sneakers, let’s keep wearing pink with PURPOSE—raising breast cancer awareness in our Black and Brown communities! 🎀

🎀 Breast cancer awareness tip: Having trouble getting screening or follow-up care? Ask about a patient navigator. CDC-supported screening programs offer navigation to help eligible women connect with timely care. You deserve support through every step. (cdc.gov)

💗 Mental health tip: Waiting for answers can feel overwhelming. Make space for a calming activity, connect with someone you trust, and tell your healthcare team when worry feels hard to manage. You deserve emotional care, too. (cancer.gov)

How many days, and in how many ways, can YOU wear pink? 💕

We’re HALFWAY THERE! 😆🎉 Fifteen days of pink, purpose, and conversations about breast health in our Black and Brown communities. Let’s keep showing up for ourselves and each other!

🎀 Breast cancer awareness tip: Having no family history doesn’t mean you have no risk. Breast cancer can occur without a family history—talk with your healthcare provider about your personal risk and screening needs. (cdc.gov)

💗 Mental health tip: Give yourself permission to set the pace. If you’re navigating cancer, you choose when—and with whom—to discuss your experience. Try saying, “Thank you for caring. I’m not ready to talk today.” Your boundaries deserve respect. (cancer.gov)

How many days, and in how many ways, can YOU wear pink? 💕

TWO WEEKS of pink and PURPOSE! 🎉 Thank you for helping keep breast cancer awareness visible in our Black and Brown communities. Let’s keep the conversations—and the caring—going!

🎀 Breast cancer awareness tip: Regular physical activity can help lower breast cancer risk. Choose movement that fits your ability and energy—walking, dancing, or moving with a friend. Every step toward caring for yourself matters! (cdc.gov)

💗 Mental health tip: Keep checking on loved ones after cancer treatment ends. Loneliness and emotional challenges may continue. A thoughtful call or invitation says, “You’re still supported.” (cancer.gov)

How many days, and in how many ways, can YOU wear pink? 💕

Thirteen days of pink and PURPOSE! Let’s keep raising breast cancer awareness and encouraging whole-person wellness in our Black and Brown communities. 🎀

🎀 Breast cancer awareness tip: A recent normal mammogram doesn’t mean you should ignore a new breast change. Contact your healthcare provider if you notice something unusual—even if your screening is up to date. (cancer.gov)

💗 Mental health tip: Put your feelings into words. If cancer is touching your life, writing down what you’re feeling can help you sort through your emotions. Try this prompt: “Today I feel ___, and what I need is ___.” (cancer.gov)

🩷 DAY 12 | 30 DAYS OF PINK 🩷
Today we honor Indigenous Peoples’ Day! 💕
How many days, and in how many ways, can YOU wear pink?

As we wear pink, we honor the histories, cultures, and contributions of Indigenous peoples—and affirm that Indigenous, Black, and Brown communities deserve compassionate, culturally responsive care. 🎀

🎀 Breast cancer awareness tip: Need help accessing screening? Ask your local health department or tribal health clinic about screening assistance and patient navigation. CDC-supported programs, including those serving American Indian and Alaska Native communities, help eligible women access screening and follow-up care. (cdc.gov)

💗 Mental health tip: Seek connection that feels right for you. If cancer is touching your life, ask about peer support that honors your background and experiences. You can begin by simply listening—sharing your story is your choice. (cancer.gov)

Today’s reminder: Your culture deserves respect. Your voice deserves to be heard. Your whole self deserves care. 🩷
