Slide 6 might be controversial.⁣
⁣
Today is National Fossil Day!⁣
⁣
And there are things we should "fossilize" on Instagram. ⁣
⁣
🌱 Posting single photos isn't bad per se. But IG wants us to utilize all their features, especially videos/reels!⁣
🌱 Cold DM-ing was, is, and will never be cool. ⁣
🌱 Focusing on aesthetics too much without putting value on your content is like offering junk food to your audience. Tasty, but not nutritious and filling.⁣
🌱 Hashtagging every word not only looks messy, but it also doesn't make sense!⁣
⁣
What other practice do you wish would get "fossilized"?

Ever felt like you're growing too slow (or not at all) in your business?

πŸ›‘ News flash! πŸ›‘

There are no shortcuts to success.

Things such as buying followers, joining engagement groups, and other ways of "cheating" might give you a feeling that you are winning. But remember, those metrics are only VANITY.

They don't mean anything if they don't help you in your goals (e.g. brand awareness, increase sales, grow community).

To succeed in your goals on Instagram, have a mixture of grit, perseverance, and consistency.

I am cheering on you! πŸ™‹β€β™€οΈ

You have opened an online business, curated a lineup of irresistible products (or services), posted great photos and videos... but no one even interacts with your posts. ⁣
⁣
It's time for you to level up your ENGAGEMENT STRATEGY!⁣
⁣
Where and with whom should you engage? ⁣
πŸ’« Explore page⁣
πŸ’« Your followers⁣
πŸ’« Posts in your hashtags⁣
πŸ’« Big creators in your niche⁣
⁣
Remember to ENGAGE daily. Doing so makes people curious about you, visit your profile, may even drop a comment or two, and eventually be interested in what you are offering.⁣
⁣
❗Do not engage with your followers only.❗ ⁣
Doing so likens you to a shopkeeper who only entertains customers who come inside the shop.⁣
⁣
Go out there and become more visible. Put yourself out there. Market your business.⁣
⁣
Today's the day you stop being a wallflower.🌼⁣
⁣
Leave a πŸ‘ if you agree!⁣

This is from Adam Mosseri, the Head of itself!

If you want to be more visible, take note of the signals and indicators for ranking!

Have you already tried the features on the 7th slide?

I recently discovered using the CLOSE FRIENDS feature, so I could still engage with my fellow creators when pressed for time (I got this tip from !).⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

Made you sing, didn't I? πŸ˜‚

Kidding aside...

Another month is here again! Another fresh start to evaluate our last month's objectives and set new ones.

Do you know?

Verbalizing our goals helps us become more accountable in reaching them.

So list them down and even share them with others!

What's one thing you're looking forward to achieving this month? I'd love to know your thoughts in the comments below ✨
