“don't let your
skin become
so thick that
nothing can
hurt you anymore

getting wounded
is part of the experience

the scars you
collect are all
part of your story

take off your armor
and give vulnerability
a chance to paint
your naked form

feel the sunlight
on your shoulders

let the wind move
through your hair

give your tears a
chance to be counted

allow us to be swept
up in your smile

~ you see, my love,

you weren't born
to be hidden behind
a towering wall

you were formed out
of an ancient whisper to
become a natural wonder
where we all visit to
listen to the songbirds
sing through the pines of
your evergreen beauty

you were given this skin
to be kissed softly

- don't let it grow scales

you were given your eyes
to reflect starlight

- don't close them to keep us from
seeing your soul

you were given your hands
to lace inside another hand

- don't keep them constantly
folded in your lap

my love,

I know this world
can be a sharpened spear
that will often pierce you

but

when given a choice
bleeding is always
better than apathy

someday when we
meet in the moving
cosmic river that exists
on the crawling fringe
of everything

let's take turns
washing each other's
scars while saying
the same prayer
over and over:

"I got this wound
for caring and I
got this one for
having an open heart

but that is the cost
that comes from being
a living work of sacred art."

“I wrote this poem a couple years ago to keep myself from falling off the edge. I need these words today more than ever.

*****

oh my troubled lovely,
oh my weeping daisy,
oh my fading candle,
oh my broken beauty,
oh my crumbling stronghold,

stay with us
here on Earth

don’t rapture yourself;
~ we need you - we need you
- we need you - we need you

before you decide to leave,

sit with me here in your unmade self
at the edge of your unmade bed

and listen to me
tell you one last secret

oh my tearful songbird,

if you can find
a way to
survive long

enough

someday you’ll become
the answer to somebody
else’s most desperate prayer

by just being there in
the same room that they are in
~ as they gently fall apart

and in that moment
you won’t need to say anything

you’ll just need drape your hands
over theirs like a Good Friday altar cloth
until they believe in resurrection again

~ that’s why you can’t give up

your life will someday be the rainbow
at the end of someone else’s storm

if you aren’t still here
when they fall off
the bridge

then who will be there to catch them?

I know it’s not quite fair
~ but your life isn’t just yours

it also belongs to that person
who is going to need you
to be alive later

you are part of the community
of unintended angels

who has a sacred calling

of surviving your darkest night
so someday you can be the
sunrise for somebody else who
will need you to prove to them
that daybreak always returns

oh my clouding diamond,
oh my shaking sunflower,
oh my doubting saint,
oh my disappearing moon,
oh my quieting symphony

stay here
with us
on Earth

because if you do

you will save a dozen lives
by first saving your own

it’s the great pyramid scheme
of hope

you must persist
so they can watch how you persist

turn this riptide you
are drowning under

into a ripple
of hope
that stretches
through time

that you can ride until
you reach that one moment
in your life where you’ll find yourself
in a quiet room with somebody
who wants to become a shadow

and you’ll be able to say to them
with authority the same thing
I am saying to you right now:

From the Shadow Sister

I am the reckless w***e
You had to exile
When society told you
You had to be pure

I am the wretched hag
Marginalized
Beneath the suffocating standards
of princess

I am the witch
Cackling from your depths
Banished
By the spells of shame

I am also what breaks the spell.

I am the hideous, hairy, roaring beast
Somehow hidden
Just behind the demands
To be dainty damsel

And I am what cannot lastingly
Be put away.

I am sacred fury
And I will rescue you
From fainting and feeble

I am the holy, thunderous storm
Whose roar
Will rip off the veil
Of your thin smile
That hides you completely

I will blow open
The atrocious oppression
Of “you must be a blue sky.”

I am the lion
that eats the fawn.

I am the crazy woman
They’ve been blaming for centuries—
Stoning, ra**ng, assaulting, slandering—
Because I dare to be mad enough
To speak truth

I am the venomous, rage-eyed flame
Forced into silence
By the demure

I am the voice
Of what is hidden

I am Medusa.
I care not
If you are petrified
By meeting my gaze
I still will not
Cease to see.

I am the glorious darkness
You’ve called light’s blemish

I am the shadow
That finally lets you see.

I am the truth
that you've crucified
and burned
a thousand times
that cannot die.

I am inside you.
Yes, men.
Even you.

There are cellars
Inside us all

You think the longer
You lock me up
To let me whither
The holier you will be—

I am what cannot be silenced.

Your attempts to silence me

🌟 TIME TO LET GO OF THE TOXIC ENMESHMENTS 🌟

We are born, we incarnate into a blood family, we inherit all of the toxic and limiting beliefs, patterns, and dysfunction of our family line.

We also inherit the strengths and resources and good qualities to, but sometimes they are lost amidst the chaos of growing up.

There comes a time, when we draw the line, and individuate ourselves away from our family tribe. In doing so, we can begin to learn who we truly are and fulfill the true destiny of our soul on earth.

Family constellations is a powerful modality that helps to unravel The toxic and measurements and complete the interrupted movements and longings of our childhood.
