What have I been up to? Helping people like you pivot, evolve, and adapt during these crazy times. After serving an estimated 25,000 individuals for free and volunteering my time, I've been requested to provide coaching and consulting in a smaller group setting. First, not In order, but all important ways to evolve with the times and with your own humanity:
1. Lean on your strengths
2. Charge more than you think you should if you can guarantee super high value
3. Start before you’re ready AND before you’ve perfected everything so that you actually DO start eventually.
4. Ask for help along the way from other relatable entrepreneurs and coaches who are living and looking like where you are at already and want to move towards. I’m not talking mansions and jets necessarily, but perhaps someone who spends time with their family or isn’t growing a huge following but is able to pay off their college debt
5. Develop systems and repeat what works while dropping whatever drags you down.
6. Work at times where you feel most productive and set and maintain boundaries
7. Adjust your timelines whenever you need to with SELF-COMPASSION -- not criticism
8. Prioritize accountability with friends, family, coaches, or all of the above.

How many of us catch ourselves saying “I don’t have any time for that,” or “there isn’t enough time in a day?”



What if I told you, this didn’t have to be the answer and maybe even SAYING (believing) these phrases is causing us more stress, and pulling us more out of flow?



Amidst this time, probably like you I’m working from home, with my husband and daughter and time sure feels different. Just last week I spent two nights working in the middle of the night because the apartment was quieter, my daughter was finally asleep, and I felt the creative rush to write and reflect.



This won’t work forever, but it’s helpful for me to reconsider how I can relate to time differently. Because the thing is, if we keep telling ourselves time slips away or moves too quickly, it certainly will.



If we change how we relate to time, we can optimize timelines, move along time-sensitive items, and make sure to move the needle in a way that leads to our advantage.

1) I'm a long board surfer (this means I surf rolling waves on a longer board 7'6" and up... anyone else on here?
2) I love arts and crafts. Whether it's Tie-Dye, Coloring, Collage, Vision Boards, building end tables, it's my jam.
3) I never thought I would love Instagram as much as I do, but it's led to some of the most inspiring friendships, professional and personal collaborations, and let's be real- Canva is so fun as a creative outlet!

Let's get personal...

Some big dreams can feel SO FAR AWAY. Some of them might be living in purpose, getting that beach house, being able to pay bills on time, becoming a parent, or falling in love. Sometimes our dreams can even frustrate us because they feel like dreams, so distant from our day-to-day life. Today and looking into the weekend I want to invite you to think about what happens during and after that dream is realized, and then start to think about what leads up to it.
.

If that one- or many- big dreams could come true, what would life be like? When we think through all that can unfold, we can notice how we start to get energized at the prospect of whatever is on the other side of achievement. This helps increase our motivation. For me, when the dream of parenthood felt winding, long, and confusing, I kept taking the actionable steps regardless because I was hopeful, and motivated to cross over into that dream.

I'm grateful every minute for parenthood even when it is filled with helping my daughter with her cold almost every hour of the night (winter in NYC!) I'm grateful to know those big dreams required actionable steps, and I asked for help to step through appointments, processes, and oppressive and confusing systems to make it happen. Winter cold, congestion and all, I'm one grateful momma. Now that we got a bit more personal, let me know- what do you do to achieve your big dreams and get across the finish line?

Last night I spoke on the implications of flow and alignment on wellness in relationships and establishing our core circle and chosen families when we are open to these connections.
.
.
A true example of synchronicity and flow at play, several friends from Instagram and I connected in real life, colleagues from the wellness, medical, and creative arts world joined together, and we all intentionally focused on our deepening of alignment and relationship wellness.
.
.

How often do you think about your life as a story you have the power to rewrite or change?

This is your permission and encouragement to rewrite your story at any moment and any day.
.
.
Can you pause for a moment and think about what that would feel like if you started to rewrite and pivot in your personal or professional life so you actually felt alignment of your values and actions?
.
.
The cool part is it only takes a small step. it could be writing something or saying a new idea outloud. It could be collaborating to create something innovative, or simply trying a new recipe to activate your senses. It's never ever too late, and it's always just the right time.

...Downtime means more energy. Read it again =)

When rest and recovery are integrated into your schedule in an intentional manner, the way you relate to business, life, and relationships absolutely transforms. I know I'm not the only one fighting off colds and viruses in this weather in New York City, so ongoing rest and recovery is absolutely key! This means I'm stepping back a bit, intentionally resting and integrating more downtime than I usually do in order to recover and rejuvenate. It's wild because just like every other time I've intentionally listened to my body's signals, I'm already feeling more energized about a few projects I'm working on.

Give yourself some rest and recovery, and be intentional!
Some tips for how to do this are:
1. Recognize that rest and downtime looks different for us all
2. It usually doesn't involve screens
3. It often requires us to stimulate a different part of body and brain
4. You can start by reconnecting with your five senses using simple mindful exercises
5. You can share with someone in your life you're focusing on rest and downtime, and see if they have any specific ideas
6. You can discuss the need for downtime or days of practice to reset and make it just as important as scheduling a work call or responsibility.
