Music won’t fix anything. It will sit with you while you’re in it, which is sometimes the actual thing you needed.

Caleigh, built 12 playlists for 12 moods — anxious, sad, needing a reset, needing to cry it out on purpose.

Drop your go-to song in the comments and we’ll build a HereNow playlist out of them.

Cycle for Support is Sunday, October 18, and HereNow is walking.

It’s a 5K in Purchase, NY, starting at 10:45 AM. About an hour, any pace, no athleticism required.

Getting there is the easy part. Meet us at the site, or travel up with the team from Grand Central — details come to you after you sign up.

And showing up for something bigger than your own week is underrated. Not as a distraction, but because doing something alongside other people is a real antidote to feeling like it’s all on you.

Come with a friend. Come with your family. Or come on your own and ride up with the group.

Sukkot starts tonight. We build a shelter with a roof you can see the sky through that's deliberately temporary and deliberately open.

You don’t need to have everything together to have a place to belong. That’s kind of the whole point.

Yom Kippur ended last night. If you're wiped out today, that tracks as big holidays take something out of you.

So here are three ways to pause. Keep them for any moment your mind is running away from you.

Save this for the day you need it.

Yom Kippur begins tonight at sundown.

If you're heading in feeling behind, that's most people. You don't have to do this perfectly. Showing up unfinished is showing up.

G'mar chatima tova. See you Tuesday.

September is Su***de Prevention Awareness Month.

Here is the part that matters most to us: you don’t need to be a therapist to help a friend. You need to notice, ask, and stay.

If you or someone you know is struggling: call or text 988, the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline. Or text HOME to 741741. Free, 24/7, English and Spanish.

Avi, a HereNow teen writer, wrote 13 more ways to show up for a friend.

Teshuvah usually gets translated as “repentance.” Ariella says that isn’t quite it. It means return.

Not become someone new. Come back to who you already are.

Maybe this year it starts with one small thing. A habit to let go of. A person to apologize to. Five minutes of honesty about how the year actually went.

“The Pressure of Teshuvah,” a new piece by Ariella F.
