🚨 He hijacked a plane with a bomb, collected $200,000 in ransom, then jumped into the freezing night with a parachute... and was never seen again.

On Thanksgiving Eve in 1971, a man calling himself D. B. Cooper carried out one of the boldest crimes in American history. After releasing every passenger, he ordered the plane back into the air and parachuted into the darkness over the Pacific Northwest with the ransom money.

Despite one of the largest FBI investigations ever launched, no confirmed trace of Cooper was ever found. No body. No parachute. No answers. The only major clue surfaced years later when part of the ransom money was discovered buried along the Columbia River.

More than 50 years later, the mystery remains unsolved.
