During Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re grateful to celebrate wonderful families like Edelman’s and the trust they place in us. ❤️

At LBFF, we never want language to stand in the way of a family feeling welcomed, heard, and supported.

A little reminder for today: being yourself is always worth celebrating. ✨

Every child deserves to feel proud of exactly who they are. 💛

One of the biggest questions families ask us is: What happens after I apply? The answer starts with an individual review.

After a family completes our confidential online application, our medical team reviews the child’s information to determine whether LBFF may be able to provide care. Families do not have to decide eligibility themselves. That’s what the review process is for.

Our new blog walks through the process so you can better understand what to expect. Read more on our website. https://www.littlebabyface.org/how-lbff-reviews-applications-for-complex-facial-birth-conditions/

Breathing and feeding are part of everyday life. For some children with facial differences, like cleft palate, nasal clefts, and nasal atresia, those everyday functions may also bring challenges.

That can leave parents with important questions about what their child is experiencing and what comes next.

Our newest blog explains how certain facial differences may affect breathing and feeding, while offering supportive information for families looking to learn more.

Clefts, nasal clefts, and nasal atresia can sound similar, but each can affect a child in different ways.

Our newest parent guide explains these facial differences in plain language and explores how they may affect everyday functions.

Our goal is to give families a clearer understanding of what these terms mean and help them feel more informed as they consider next steps.

We have a sweet update to share about Ivy 💛

This little sweetheart recently traveled from Virginia to New York with her mom and dad, Tiffany and Matt, for surgery. Her visit also came right around her 3rd birthday, so there was a little celebrating to do! 🎂

To make the occasion even sweeter, Ivy received a Build-A-Bear during her visit with Dr. Romo. Her new friend was made with love by employees at Apollo Global Management during an event organized with former LBFF board member Alexa Rauch. 🧸

We’re so grateful to Alexa and everyone at Apollo for adding some extra joy to Ivy’s birthday visit. Wishing this sweet girl a very happy 3rd birthday! 💛

Our surgeons donate something incredibly valuable: their time and expertise.

But providing no-cost care still comes with critical expenses.

Donor support helps us cover costs such as specialized tools, anesthesia, travel, and lodging when a child is accepted for care.

That means your gift helps turn donated medical expertise into care a family can actually access. Every gift helps us continue transforming the lives and faces of children born with facial differences.
