The memory of visiting my Dad at work as a little girl is so BRIGHT in my mind’s eye… I can feel the excitement spiraling through me still! Lurching myself into his great big chair and spinning around as many times as I could before scrambling into his desk drawer to find his Tic Tac’s, hoping that he would have the orange ones and not just the white ones….
I loved going to work with my dad.
And on the regular when I would call him after school he would ALWAYS take my call. Often he was BUSY! “Im in a meeting sweetheart, can I call you later?” I couldn’t help but notice that he ALWAYS picked up.
But as I finally start to really set my OWN OFFICE up in my NEW studio, as I start to take ownership of my choices and who I am and why I am here… I start to connect to my purpose.
I had a vision….
A safe space for all to come. To move and groove, SHAMELESSLY. A place where you could learn the tools to really nourish yourself. A playground to explore Sensual Movement & Pole Dancing combined with a cutting edge holistic detoxification center. All of the elements living harmoniously together inside a sophisticated social club surrounded by gorgeous art.
A vision manifested in the physical realm.
Here … at PoleArity Palace… it’s all happening. It’s a slow burn to start, and the explosion is sure to come.
And so I will stand behind my choices, and make ROOM for myself to continue to evolve into the next best version of myself each and every day.
I will carve out the space for MYSELF first so that I can show up 107% for my kids, my staff, my friends, my clients.
I will relish in the deliciousness of what I have created, and leave all of the “I’m Sorry’s” behind.
I will value myself, show up for myself, and allow myself to enjoy my days because I have chosen them.
I will spend time in my beautiful office.
And I will ALWAYS take my kids’ calls

Fab Friday!
This Friday we will be giving a kind reminder of all the reasons why your body loves the child’s pose! This pose gently stretches out your spine, thighs, hips, and ankles. Because it’s a resting pose filled with deep breathing, it’s mega relaxing. Child’s Pose can stimulate blood flow to your head, and blood circulation helps oxygen reach all corners of your body.
In holding this pose, you will be able to release tension in the chest, lower back, shoulders, and hamstrings.
As a super basic pose, it can support mobility outside of a full yoga sesh, too. If you’re at your WFH desk this is always one of my favorite go-to poses to relieve any aches and strains from the day! Make sure to remember to use intentional and deep breaths during this stretch to allow your body the full benefits.
What is T.R.E?
T.R.E, or Tension & Trauma Release Exercises, is a practice of movement involving a simple series of exercises which activates muscular tension relief within your body. These exercises can naturally calm down the nervous system and allow for the release of stress, trauma, and tension. People often experience feelings of peace and a state of balance after a session.

What better way to get your Monday moves in than Open Vinyasa Yoga with Juan?! 😍😍
Open vinyasa is based on alignment, breath and intention. Instead of “levels” consider the class an opportunity to explore, move, meditate and find the connection between breath and body. Students are encouraged to use props and also to invite a playful edge in the practice - Balancing both is part of the yoga.

In the first few days of Libra season there’s a new moon in the sign of the scales. And contrary to popular belief, the scales of Libra are not always balanced. In fact, they constantly seeking balance in an ever-changing world.
Libra seeks balance and proportionality. This sign is especially sensitive to imbalances, working to adjust its surroundings to bring about equilibrium. This not only includes patterns and color schemes (Libra is known to be a great designer and fashionista) but also in regards to relationships and justice. There are lots of aspects going on at the new moon party and well, Libra is the perfect energy to coordinate it all.
For one the new moon and the sun are conjunct mercury and Venus in Virgo. Pluto trines this configuration, as does Uranus and Neptune opposes. How we communicate and what we value are paramount at this time.
Mars in Gemini continues to create tension by squaring planets in Virgo showing that we need to balance what is in process with what’s new and not yet “in process”. Saturn trines mars however, which can ground the often-scattered energy and help us harness the power of ideation.
With this new moon, Venus is definitely center stage. She is connected with the sign of Libra (and Ta**us) and highlights the connection with the relationship with ourselves and with others. Pluto and Uranus making trines to Venus during this event underscore the need to incorporate new relationships we are coming into with ourselves and others. As lots of change has been going on, how can we incorporate this change into our new value system?
There’s lots to consider here, so give yourself grace as you work to balance your own scales at this time.

Whether it may be insecurities to physical limitations, we know that movement may access vulnerabilities that aren’t always easy. It is so important to practice body movement in a safe space where your individual needs are also taken into consideration. We are so excited to grow our community within the studio, where EVERYONE is welcomed as they come. Awareness is key to creating a safe space. We strive for a warm and comfortable atmosphere where everyone is given what they need to strive!
Show up for yourself today. Sometimes it’s so easy to cater to the needs of others that you forget to set time aside for self love. Self love can be in so many forms, and can be expressed in the simple acts of doing something you enjoy. When you show up for yourself you are also able to better project your light to those around you🤍
5 simple stretches to loosen up those hip flexors! Hip flexors can so easily be strained during a dance so it’s so important to keep those muscles ready to go. Try these movements and repeat as many times as your body needs before and after you move to decrease sore muscles and improve flexibility!
The full moon in Pisces is a culmination of what we’ve been working thru since the new moon in Virgo at the end of August. What has come to your attention since then? It’s likely something that’s been a bit of a struggle to work through.
As the Virgo eye can be especially aware of all the little things that are off and at worst, hypercritical, you might have found a lot of things in your life that need correcting. There also has been a sense of urgency and lots of new ideas coming thru with Mars in Gemini. This can be super overwhelming and create a ton of anxiety with all this mercurial energy.
This is where the beauty of this full moon in Pisces fits in perfectly. Pisces as an archetype is unconditional love and empathy beyond measure. It takes the edge off of what we’ve likely all been feeling over the last week or so. This is especially emphasized with Neptune, the ruler of Pisces conjunct the full moon. The hope here is that we accept our “shortcomings” with love and see ourselves as Source sees us – without fault. Whereas Virgo keeps the Pisces in us grounded, Pisces keeps the Virgo in us from being too judgmental.
Mercury goes retrograde on Friday just before the full moon and this further emphasizes a need to rethink and revisit what has been going on in our minds over the last week or so with a new perspective, maybe even a higher perspective.
Mars in Gemini continues to create tension in the heavens squaring the Sun, Venus and the moon, but Uranus and Pluto help offset this energy by creating supportive aspects. There’s pressure to change, but by embracing the change we’ll be renewed in the process as we diligently go with the flow.

Strawberry banana parfait🍓🍓
Parfaits are so easy and have so many options! I like to add raw honey and chia seeds along with some almond granola for extra substance and flavor. Get creative and add in your favorite nuts, berries, and toppings!

4-7-8 breathing techniques to practice anywhere and at anytime. Use as often as you would like! Only do it for four cycles in a row in the beginning in case of lightheaded feelings, which will pass. This method helps with anxiety, improved sleep quality, and motor memory!
Fresh Baked Banana Bread 💛
I make a few times per month for breakfast or a healthy sweet snack! This recipe is both vegan and gluten free as well.

3 large ripe bananas
105 g light brown sugar
80 ml sunflower oil
240 g gluten free self raising flour
I tsp baking powder
2 tsp cinnamon
70 g vegan chocolate chips
50 g vegan white chocolate chips (optional
but delicious)
1 tsp vanilla extract
…
Instructions
1. Pre heat your oven to 180°C and grease
and line a loaf tin.
2. Add your bananas to a large mixing bowl
and mash with a fork. Add your sunflower
oil, light brown sugar and vanilla extract
and mix well.
3. Add your self raising flour, baking powder
and cinnamon, mixing until fully combined
4. Stir in your chocolate chips and then
transfer the mixture into your lined loaf tin.
5. Bake in the oven for around 40 minutes,
until golden brown on the top and an
inserted knife comes out clean. You may
need to cover the top for the last 10
minutes to prevent the cake from burning
6. Remove from the oven and leave to cool
before slicing and enjoying!

These recommendations will give you the opportunity to reflect on your day and the interactions within it. We hope it helps bring some clarity with self awareness and expression.
Indulging in a sweet fruit snack today. Papaya is a tropical fruit, rich in fiber and betacarotenes. It contains papain, an enzyme that helps digesting food. It is recommended for gastritis, difficult digestions, ulcer constipation, flatulence, etc. Enjoy this lovely snack to receive these amazing benefits for your body🤍🤍
Take pride today in what it took to get you to this point. You are strong enough to have led yourself to success, and even stronger to continue that journey!

Lunch today is a kale and spinach salad topped with wild rice, tomatoes, avocado, Gruyère cheese, smoked salmon, and your favorite choice of dressing. Mine was a simple slice of lemon over the top which added a fresh summer touch!
The full moon on Thursday is in the sign of Aquarius, the freedom seeker and the individual. But how can we truly be free until we have mastered ourselves, not looking to others for all the answers? We must get serious about this question as this full moon may provide the answers if we pay attention. How can we be a rebel, with a cause and with purpose, and not one without?
When Saturn (the planet of purpose) conjuncts the moon as it does during the full moon, it asks us to get real. Saturn aims to help us build something that lasts, even if it takes time. During the full moon, Saturn also squares the nodes, which indicates an especially important clue in our path forward. As we work to rely on ourselves, we ironically become freer.
Have you noticed lately how hard it is to get a sense of security from looking to the news for answers? Maybe you’ve stopped watching the news, which isn’t a bad idea. In either case, the more we look externally for answers, the more we dismiss the true guidance and give our power away.
We will feel the push during this full moon to liberate and take action as Mars the planet of action is trine Pluto. This is very ambitious energy, so make sure your actions are in alignment with your divine self. Honor you, but also don’t do it at the expense of others.
But alas, a few aspects will likely keep us grounded during this process. The voice of reason, Mercury in Virgo helps us think before speaking and the Sun also trines Chiron, allowing us to be beautifully vulnerable as we go about the work.
Be a rebel with a cause who’s stable and deliberate and adjust as you go. With all these squaring aspects in the sky you’ll need to and you can.

We all know that organic is better but why? It’s the pesticide’s and berries hold the most amount of them because they have no layer of skin to protect them. My kids and I LOVE berries but can’t always afford $10 a pint for organic… well here’s a go around!! Food grade hydrogen peroxide!! Soak the berries in water w a capful of this for 5 minutes, rinse, then let them sit in plain water for another 5, rinse and enjoy worry free!! The food grade HP will remove any pesty pesticides!!
