What if we stopped asking people to be okay, and started making it okay to not be okay?
Everyone experiences life differently. Some people share what they’re going through, while others may not have the words, the space, or the support they need. There is no single right way to feel, cope, heal, or ask for help.
This World Mental Health Day 2026, let’s create spaces where people feel respected, included, and supported — without judgment, assumptions, or pressure to explain themselves.
Let’s listen to understand, respect each person’s experience, acknowledge different needs, and work towards making mental health resources and support accessible to everyone.
Support can look different for each person. Sometimes it’s listening. Sometimes it’s offering practical help, respecting boundaries, connecting someone with appropriate resources, or simply asking, “What kind of support would feel helpful to you?”
Because every experience matters. Every voice deserves respect. And everyone deserves access to care, understanding, and support.
Listen. Understand. Include. Support. Act.
Together, let’s build a world where everyone feels they belong — and where it’s okay to not be okay.
