🧊 SOMETIMES, MY CLIENTS GIVE ME THE BEST IDEAS.

A new treatment option is coming to Tranquil Palms, and this one actually started with a client suggestion.

Recently, a client came in for a Clinical Massage + Muscle Scraping session. During our conversation, she mentioned that she thought it would be nice to have some type of cooling lotion to apply after the deeper work.

I told her, "Funny you mention that… I actually already have one."

So instead of just talking about it, we decided to try it.

I applied the cooling lotion to the areas we had worked on, and she could feel the cooling effect almost immediately. By the end of the session, she told me she felt so much better.

So I'm officially adding a Cooling Recovery Treatment to the Tranquil Palms menu for $5.

It's an optional treatment that can be especially useful after:
• Clinical/deeper massage work
• Muscle scraping
• Focused work on areas that have received a lot of attention

And this is also a good reminder:

I'm not going to promise that I'll be able to implement every suggestion, but if it's something that makes sense for my practice and can benefit my clients, I'll listen, I'll consider it, and I'll try it.

Building a small business from the ground up isn't always easy.

Tranquil Palms Mobile Massage is something I've put a lot of time, work, and learning into building. As a small business owner and a dad, my goal is to make this something that is not only sustainable, but something I can continue growing for years to come.

🚨 MORE DAYS TO GET ON MY TABLE! 🚨

I’m making a little change to my schedule!

Starting September 18, 2026, I’ll be opening my books every other Wednesday AND every other Saturday. 🙌

Here’s how it’s going to work:

📅 WEDNESDAYS — Every Other Week
⏰ 10 AM – 2 PM
🚗 Mobile & in-office appointments available

Wednesday will work just like my Friday schedule. I can travel for mobile appointments, I just need to make sure I’m back in time for school pickup.

📅 SATURDAYS — Every Other Week
⏰ 10 AM – 2 PM
📍 In-office appointments ONLY

Since I was closed this past Wednesday, I’ll also be closed Saturday, September 19th.

That means my next additional openings will be:

👉 Wednesday, September 23rd — 10 AM–2 PM
👉 Saturday, September 26th — 10 AM–2 PM

And then we'll continue on the every-other-week rotation.

☀️ ONE IMPORTANT NOTE:
This will most likely be a seasonal schedule.

Once summer vacation rolls around and my son is out of school, I’ll most likely return to my original schedule so I can have more time with him during his summer break. ❤️

For now, though, I'm opening up a few more opportunities for you to get in while school is in session!

Welcome to Tranquil Palms Mobile Massage!

I’m Ben Edwards, LMT, and I take a different approach to massage therapy.

My focus isn’t simply helping you relax for an hour. My goal is to find the areas contributing to your pain and work with your body to address them.

A lot of the people I work with aren't dealing with one specific injury. Their pain comes from everyday life—working, sitting, driving, lifting, exercising, repetitive movements, or simply putting too much stress on the body for too long.

That’s where clinical massage comes in.

I focus heavily on identifying and working with muscular tension, trigger points, and areas of dysfunction that may be contributing to the discomfort you're feeling. Sometimes the area that hurts isn't the only area that needs attention.

You may even have a problem area you didn't realize was there until we find it.

My approach is:
• Targeted rather than generic
• Therapeutic rather than purely relaxation-focused
• Adjusted to your body's needs
• Focused on finding contributing factors—not just chasing symptoms
• Built around communication, so your session can be adjusted to your comfort level

I also incorporate techniques such as muscle scraping and other specialized soft-tissue techniques when appropriate.

And no two sessions have to be exactly the same. Your treatment is based on what your body needs that day.

My goal is simple:

🏠 OUT-OF-COUNTY HOUSE CALLS

Yes, I do travel outside of the county for house calls!

Because of the extra time and mileage involved, out-of-county house calls have a travel fee of $0.75 per mile.

But there’s a way to make those house calls much more affordable. 👇

MEMBERSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE FOR OUT-OF-COUNTY CLIENTS TOO!

When you have a membership, your massage sessions are covered by your membership payment. So when I come to you, the only additional amount you’re responsible for is the travel fee.

That means you can still take advantage of your locked-in membership rate while only paying the mileage for me to get to you.

If you live outside the county and want regular therapeutic massage without having to drive to me, a membership may be a great option.

I may not respond immediately if I'm working, sleeping, or away from my phone, but I'll get back to you as soon as I can. I've been getting absolutely HAMMERED with spam calls lately, including a ridiculous number of those one-second voicemails. 🤦‍♂️

Because of that, I'm going to stop deleting my voicemails until the spam calls calm down.

So if you call and can't get through, please just shoot me a message instead, especially if you're new! That way I can save your number and be able to tell you apart from the spam numbers.

I don't want a legitimate client thinking I ignored them just because I didn't answer the phone.
