Monday's Pathway to Wellness: Your Journey, Your Timing, Your Purpose
Life is a journey, and no two pathways are exactly alike. Yet every once in a while, our paths cross with someone whose experiences sound remarkably familiar.
Perhaps you were turned down for a job you desperately wanted, only to become a director somewhere else years later. Maybe you trained someone who received the promotion you worked so hard to earn. Or perhaps you endured mistreatment, public humiliation, and constant questioning of your abilities by people in leadership.
Imagine building the very processes that helped an organization function, only to have your contributions questioned or minimized. Then, years after you leave, those same processes are still being used.
Sometimes we respond. Sometimes we address the situation privately. And sometimes we simply choose peace and move forward.
You may have experienced bullying in the workplace, organizations and a church environments. I share this because I know someone reading these words may be walking a similar path today.
I recently heard the young football player Shedeur Sanders speak about "perfect timing." Those words reminded me that a closed door is not always a defeat. Sometimes it is a redirection toward something greater.
Your rejection does not define your worth. Your mistreatment does not diminish your gifts. And someone else's inability to recognize your value does not erase your purpose.
As you travel your pathway to wellness, remember that healing is not just physical. It is emotional, mental, and spiritual. Body, mind and spirit.
Don't allow the pain of yesterday to rob you of the possibilities of tomorrow.
Keep walking. Keep growing. Keep believing. Keep the faith. Keep praying. God's timing is always worth trusting and God only gave you your assignment. Don't let man block your blessing.
