Every client I’ve worked with has said at least one of these things before we started 👇🏾

✅ “I’m waiting for the right time.”
✅ “My metabolism is too slow.”
✅ “I just don’t have the time.”
✅ “Nothing works for me.”

I hear it every week. And I get it. I used to say some of these things myself.

Here’s the truth → Most people aren’t lacking motivation. They’re lacking a plan that actually fits their lifestyle.

Busy schedules. Kids. Travel. Hormones. Vacations. We found ways to work around all of it.

No crash diets. No giving up the foods you love. Just structure, consistency, accountability, and someone in your corner every single week.

Every person in this carousel had a reason to wait. They chose to start anyway.

And that’s where their transformation began.

The perfect time doesn’t exist. The decision to start does.

Which one have you said before? Drop the number in the comments 👇🏾

Save this for the next time you catch yourself making that same excuse.

240 LBS this morning! 💪🏾🔥

After my last show in August 2025, I officially started my bulking phase.

What was the objective? TO GROW!!

I knew I wasn’t stepping on stage again until 2027, so I made a decision to give myself a full offseason to focus on building muscle and improving my physique.

42 LBS gained in just over a year! And still in pretty good shape!

I’m extremely happy with the progress.

Since I started competing, I’ve never taken a true, full offseason. I’ve always been either preparing for a show or getting ready for the next one.

This time, I wanted to do things differently. No rushing. No deadlines. Just eating, training hard, recovering, and giving my body the time it needs to grow.

2 more months to grow before it’s time to cut.

The goal was never just to get heavier. The goal was to build a better physique and bring something completely different to the stage in 2027.

Let’s take it to another level! 🔥

Your weekdays aren’t the problem. Your weekends are.

You spend Monday to Friday eating well, training, hitting your steps, and staying consistent.

Then the weekend comes, your structure disappears, and by Monday, you’ve potentially erased your entire weekly calorie deficit.

Here’s how to fix it without sacrificing your social life:

1️⃣ Plan your weekends in advance. If you know you’re going out Saturday night, plan your meals around it. Don’t wait until you’re starving to make food decisions.

2️⃣ Stop skipping meals to save calories. Eat balanced meals throughout the day with protein, vegetables, and quality carbohydrates. Showing up to dinner starving often leads to overeating.

3️⃣ Prioritize protein at every meal. Protein helps manage hunger, supports muscle retention, and makes it easier to stay within your calorie targets.

4️⃣ Be strategic when eating out. Choose grilled proteins, control your portions, and be mindful of sauces, appetizers, and calorie-heavy drinks. You can enjoy restaurant meals without going overboard.

5️⃣ Keep your daily steps consistent. Don’t go from 10,000–12,000 steps during the week to barely moving on weekends. Stay active, even on your rest days.

6️⃣ Watch your liquid calories. Alcohol, cocktails, juices, and specialty coffees can add hundreds of calories without making you feel full.

7️⃣ Stop treating weekends like cheat days. One restaurant meal doesn’t ruin your progress. But turning Friday night through Sunday into nonstop overeating can significantly slow your fat loss.

8️⃣ Get back to your routine immediately. If you overeat at one meal, your next meal should be back to normal. No starving yourself, no punishment cardio, and no waiting until Monday.

The goal isn’t perfection. It’s consistency across all 7 days.

You don’t need to stop enjoying your life to lose body fat. You need a plan that works with your lifestyle, not against it.

📌 Save this before your next weekend.

The goal should never be perfection.

The goal should never be to be liked or celebrated by everyone.

The goal should always be to become a better version of yourself.

You are your greatest investment.

““God, I’m scared to bet on myself.”

I know that feeling.

After 16 years in corporate IT, I made the decision to walk away from the comfort of a steady paycheck and bet on myself.

Was I scared? Absolutely.

But I knew that living with regret would be worse than taking the risk.

2 Timothy 1:7 — “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

Proverbs 3:5 — “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”

Ecclesiastes 11:4 — “He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap.”

James 2:17 — “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.”

Here’s what I’ve learned.

God didn’t give you gifts, talents, and a vision just for you to spend your entire life being afraid to use them.

You can’t keep praying for change while refusing to take action.

You can’t keep waiting for the perfect time.

And you can’t expect a different life while making the same decisions.

Sometimes, the biggest act of faith is believing in what God has placed inside you and having the courage to pursue it.

Bet on yourself. Trust God. Put in the work.

You only get one life. Don’t spend it wondering what could have been.

God is the Greatest. 🙏🏾
