There is hope. ๐Ÿ’—

Fear or uncertainty can make it easy to put off a screening, but knowing sooner can make a meaningful difference. When breast cancer is found early, treatment is often more effective and survival rates are higher.

Donโ€™t let fear keep you from taking care of yourself. Know your body, keep up with recommended screenings, and talk to your healthcare provider about when a mammogram is right for you.

๐ŸŽ€ Choose hope. Choose early detection. Get screened.

At CCHC, our patients and communities are at the heart of everything we do. ๐Ÿ’™

Proposition 44 has raised concerns about healthcare access for the millions of Californians who rely on community health centers. Staying informed about its potential impact matters.

At Comprehensive Community Health Centers (CCHC), we believe every Californian deserves access to quality, affordable healthcare. Proposition 44 raises serious concerns about the future of community health centers and the patients who depend on them. Protecting access to essential healthcare services is critical to keeping our communities healthy.

Donโ€™t wait. Get your mammogram. ๐Ÿ’—๐ŸŽ€
Mammograms are an important tool for finding breast cancer earlyโ€”sometimes before symptoms appear.

Did you know?
๐Ÿ’— A mammogram is a low-dose X-ray of the breast used to look for signs of breast cancer.
๐Ÿ’— Mammograms can detect changes that may be too small to feel.
๐Ÿ’— Regular screening can help find breast cancer at an earlier stage, when treatment may be more effective.
๐Ÿ’— Screening recommendations can vary based on age, family history and individual risk.

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, talk to your healthcare provider about when and how often you should be screened.๐Ÿ“ž Call to learn more: (747) 364-0004

Stay informed. Get screened. ๐Ÿ’—๐ŸŽ€

Knowledge is an important part of breast health. Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among women in the U.S., aside from skin cancers, and about 1 in 8 women will develop invasive breast cancer during her lifetime.

Did you know?
๐Ÿ’— Most breast cancers are diagnosed in women 50 and older.
๐Ÿ’— Having no family history doesnโ€™t mean you have no riskโ€”most women diagnosed with breast cancer do not have a family history of the disease.
๐Ÿ’— Finding breast cancer earlier can provide more treatment options and is associated with better outcomes.
Know your risk, pay attention to changes in your breasts, and talk with your healthcare provider about the screening schedule thatโ€™s right for you.
