Universal Design helps everyone! Help us get our voices heard and keep our loved ones off the floor. We are often told to keep our purses, backpacks, diaper bags etc off the public bathroom floor yet often times we are forced to change our disabled loved ones on the bathroom floor. Everyone deserves a clean, private and dignified place to be changed. Te Changing Spaces Campaign has been raising awareness for 10 years and will keep going strong!!

Two more weeks and we leave for Key campaign in Juneau. Eric is ready to discuss not wanting to ever have to be changed on a bathroom floor again. We hope to meet with the sponsor of HB 141 about safe changing tables requirements. Eric is looking forward to it.

The U.S. Access Board has published an Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (ANPRM) asking for public comment on its approach to developing technical standards for universal changing stations required to be provided by sponsors of medium and large hub airports seeking airport development project grants.
