Isn’t it interesting.

It all started with noticing.

Noticing someone else’s behavior.

It took me way too long to notice how my body was responding to those behaviors.

I have started along this path to help other women who are going through or have gone through betrayal with their partner.

I don’t want anyone else to sit in the
stress,
overwhelm,
unsteady body and emotions,
constantly tired,
waking at 2am,
never wanting to go out,
choosing to not be with the family on outings,
reaching capacity to be around noise or stimulation by 2pm but having to get through the rest of the day…

That I sat in for so long not knowing what could actually help me move through all of this and more.

Things to help women feel

Stronger.

Healthier.

Emotionally more stable.

Have a larger capacity to live life and not have a low window of tolerance.

If you’re stuck in these patterns.

Let’s chat. Link to book in bio.

There are questions betrayal leaves behind that can be incredibly hard to put down.

You want the story to make sense.

You want to know what was real.

You want to understand how someone could make the choices they made.

Those questions are understandable,

But your life deserves attention, too.

You can acknowledge the unanswered questions and still begin asking what you need today.

You can care about understanding what happened without making understanding everything the price of taking care of yourself.

That’s one of the things I want to make room for at Nested Hearth: Steady, trauma-informed support for the person living through the aftermath.

Comment Soma, if you’re ready to move out of stuck.

Comment SOMA, for my free 7 signs of betrayal trauma.

One thing I want people navigating betrayal to know is this :

You don’t have to make your pain sound convincing enough for it to count.

You might struggle to explain what happened.

You might have conflicting feelings.

You might still love the person who hurt you.

You might not even have all the words for what you’re experiencing yet.

None of that means your experience doesn’t matter.

Support should leave room for your experience, not make you feel like you’re on trial.

That matters to me in the work I do through Nested Hearth.

Have you ever felt like you had to prove why something hurt?

Comment SOMA, to privately get your free 7 signs of betrayal trauma.

Sometimes the hardest part isn’t making the decision.

It’s the mental work that comes before it.

You replay what was said.

You weigh what you know against what you don’t know.

You question your own judgment.

You wonder whether there’s something you haven’t considered.

After trust has been shattered, even small decisions can feel surprisingly complicated.

You don’t have to shame yourself for finding that exhausting.

And you don’t have to figure out the entire aftermath on your own.

I offer trauma-informed support for people navigating the aftermath of betrayal.

I’m Jenn.

Start here to get to know who I am and what I do.

We all have different details to our story, but to find each other here on Instagram because of our trauma is a great place to start healing and to find the community that you need to support you through this time.

I’m one of the women who have been through it. It’s not an easy place to be.

I don’t believe there is one right way to heal.

I don’t believe there is one right modality to heal.

I don’t believe healing is linear.

I do believe in the work I do. I know the truth of the ability to heal with someone holding space for just you. Just as you are.

You can feel ready to heal and not ready at the same time.
You can also be all in and scared to really start your journey to heal at the same time.

The opposite emotions and thoughts can leave you feeling confused and unsteady.

I have been there too.

It was a lot. I have completed a lot and I have done a ton of work on myself.

I’m not going to minimize how much I went through.

I’m not going to minimize the amount of grief and pain I felt.

I’m not sitting saying it was easy. None of it has been easy.

Not the working through or building of anything. Not the learning. Not the healing. Not the showing up every single day. It was brutal in a way that not one single word can describe.

And what coexists are still some sad moments and mild triggers. The difference? I see them. I feel them. I know what to do in them so they don’t take me down for hours or days.

And I’m standing. Laughing. Smiling. Enjoying. Going out and doing.

Finally. Again.

If you understand what happened but your body still doesn’t feel safe, you’re not behind.

You’re carrying it somewhere words can’t reach.

This one is a lot. Whoa 😳

It’s also not the exhausted list of symptoms from betrayal trauma.

Some women are surprised they still hold things from a betrayal that happened years ago.

Especially if they are divorced, or if they have done the healing work with their partner.

Science is science. The body remembers things we are sometimes unaware of.

So if you’re wondering why your body still “responds” in certain situations, or to things that are completely not “the thing that happened”, your body is still holding it.

My program helps you unravel what’s stuck. Slowly. Safely. With understanding and support from a woman who sees you.

❤️Jenn
