❤️✨ A Little Red Light, A Lot of TLC! ✨❤️

Some evenings, self-care looks like pajamas, relaxing in bed, and a little red light therapy! 🥰

Living with chronic pain and inflammation has taught me the importance of listening to my body and giving it the TLC it deserves. 💕

🔴 Red light therapy may help support:
✨ Muscle recovery and relaxation
✨ Relief from certain aches and pains
✨ Healthy circulation
✨ Skin health and cellular repair
✨ Overall wellness and recovery

And the best part? I can enjoy it right from the comfort of home! 🏡

🌸 Self-care isn’t a luxury. It’s part of learning to love and care for the body that carries you through life.

💫 Rest. Recharge. Restore. Repeat.

Friendly reminder: Red light therapy is not medical advice. If you have a chronic condition, please consult a healthcare professional to determine what’s right for you.

✨ When Life Makes You Wait… Find a Reason to Laugh! ✨😂💛

When you leave work early for a follow-up doctor’s appointment, already in pain, just to get settled into the exam room and find out your doctor is running over 30 minutes behind… 🤦‍♀️⏰

Well, I guess we’re just hanging out now! 😂

Could I sit here frustrated, uncomfortable, and watching the clock? Absolutely!

OR… I could get a little silly, laugh at myself, snap a few pictures, and make the best of it! 🤪📸

One thing this health journey continues to teach me is that I can’t always control the pain, the circumstances, or the waiting… but I CAN choose how I respond to them. 💛

Some days are harder than others, and sometimes you just have to find the humor in the chaos!

Because even when my body isn’t cooperating, my spirit doesn’t have to follow suit. 🦋

✨ Laughter may not take away the pain, but it sure can make it a little easier to carry.

So here’s your reminder: Be silly. Smile often. Laugh whenever you can. Life is too short to let every inconvenience steal your joy!

💛 Don’t just exist… LIVE, LAUGH & LOVE the life you’re living, even on the tough days!

Sometimes the hardest people to walk away from are the ones you never imagined living without. ✨

One of life’s toughest lessons is realizing you can love someone, understand their struggles, and want the best for them… without sacrificing your own peace. 💛

Whether it’s family, friendship, or love, no relationship should require you to lose yourself just to keep someone else.

🌷 Your vulnerability should be protected, not used against you.

🦋 Your words should be heard, not twisted.

🌊 Your boundaries should be respected, not challenged.

💫 Your peace should matter, too.

You can acknowledge your mistakes without taking responsibility for someone else’s behavior.

You can forgive without allowing the same hurt to continue.

And you can love someone while recognizing they no longer deserve the same access to your life.

You don’t have to make someone the villain to realize their place in your life needs to change.

Sometimes choosing yourself means disappointing others. Sometimes it means walking away with a broken heart.

But remember…

❤️ You can grieve a connection and still be proud of yourself for choosing peace.

The right people will never require you to abandon yourself to keep them in your life.

✨ You are the house, not the guest. Be mindful of who you give the keys to. 💛

Donna Day TLC 💕

Some wounds replay on loop—each detail feels like proof. In our new blog post "Forget Enough to Heal, Remember Enough to Learn," we explore how to loosen the grip of pain without losing the lessons it taught. Read it now and give yourself permission to heal with wisdom. https://wix.to/vFqPyHZ

• Reflective read • ~5 min

Some pain stays loud because memory keeps replaying it like evidence. Every detail feels useful. Every mistake feels like a warning. But healing has a strange balance: let the wound stop running your life, while keeping the lesson close enough to protect your future.Forgetting enough to heal does no...

Monday morning reality check. 💛

No appointment available for bloodwork, so here I am bright and early, hoping to make it through the line and still get to work on time. 😅💉

Not exactly the glamorous start to a Monday, but sometimes showing up for yourself looks like sitting in a waiting room before the rest of your day even begins.

Life doesn’t always fit neatly into our schedules. Healing doesn’t punch a time clock. Taking care of yourself isn’t always convenient—but you are worth making the time for.

So today’s reminder: Give yourself credit for the things nobody sees—the appointments, the waiting, the juggling, the pushing through, and the choice to keep taking care of YOU while still showing up for life.

Here’s to Monday, one little victory at a time. ✨
Take care of the person who carries you through every single day—you.

At some point, you have to respect yourself more than you fear losing someone. ✨

Because an apology without changed behavior is just another empty promise.

Words can sound beautiful.
“I’m sorry.”
“I’ll do better.”
“It won’t happen again.”
“I promise.”

But when the actions stay inconsistent and the same behavior keeps repeating, eventually you have to stop listening to the promises and start paying attention to the pattern.

You can love someone deeply and still recognize that their words no longer match their actions.

You can forgive someone and still decide you’ve had enough.

And you can miss someone while knowing that choosing them again would mean abandoning yourself.

Self-respect is realizing you deserve more than temporary apologies for repeated behavior. You deserve consistency. Accountability. Effort. Change.

Sometimes the hardest act of self-love is accepting that the apology you’ve been waiting for isn’t another “I’m sorry”…

It’s changed behavior.

And when that change never comes, maybe it’s time to choose YOU. 💛

✨ Create a life you love—and make sure the people you allow into it know how to love and respect you, too.

✨ You can’t give your life more time… so give the time you have MORE LIFE. ✨

Read that again. 👆

Stop saving everything for someday.
Someday isn’t promised.

Take the trip. Wear the outfit. Eat the dessert. Blast the music. Dance badly. Laugh until you snort. 😂 Say I love you. Take the picture. Chase the dream. And for goodness sake… stop waiting for permission to enjoy your own damn life. 💛

Life isn’t supposed to be one giant to-do list you’re trying to survive.

Be present. Get messy. Make memories. Choose joy. LOVE BIG.

Because the goal isn’t simply to add more years to your life…

✨ It’s to add more LIFE to your years. ✨

Don’t just exist.

LIVE. 💫
