MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: KATHERINE STEVENSON

We couldn’t be more proud of what Katherine has accomplished.

She is easily one of the most dedicated members we have. Katherine trains three days per week, consistently follows her custom Sevens Meal Plan, and has built the kind of discipline that shows up in every part of her progress.

And if you’ve seen her lately, you already know the results speak for themselves.

Around Sevens, she’s even earned a nickname:

“Katherine with the ARMS.”

And honestly… it fits.

But what stands out most about Katherine isn’t just the physical transformation. It’s the consistency, the attitude, and the energy she brings with her every time she walks through the door.

She talks to everyone, encourages other members, celebrates other people’s wins, and has become one of those people who simply makes the gym a better place when she’s here.

Her journey hasn’t happened without challenges either. Life gets busy. Family comes first. There have been hard seasons, loss, travel, illness, and plenty of reasons to put herself on the back burner. Instead, Katherine made the decision to keep prioritizing her health and follow through on the promises she made to herself.

That is what makes her story so motivating.

She originally came to Sevens wanting to lose weight and feel better in her clothes. What she gained along the way has been much bigger than that — strength, confidence, consistency, better mental health, and a reminder of just how capable she really is.

Katherine has worked closely with Jared throughout her journey, and the two have built a strong coach-client relationship through countless training sessions, conversations, laughs, hard days, and a lot of work. That kind of trust and consistency matters, and it has been incredible to watch her continue to grow.

Katherine is a great example of what can happen when a strong woman decides to make herself a priority and backs it up with hard work.

We’re proud of the progress.

We’re proud of the consistency.

And we’re proud to have Katherine Stevenson as part of Sevens.

Help us congratulate Katherine on everything she’s accomplished so far, and take a few minutes to read through her story. We think there’s a lot in it that people can relate to and be inspired by.

Keep going, Katherine.

And yes… the arms are RIDICULOUS.

From Jared: People are interesting to me. I've noticed how some people seem to have everything together, but when one part of their life falls apart, everything else seems to come down with it. Working with a wide array of personalities and people from different walks of life has shown me a lot about people. Opening Sevens and seeing hundreds of different people through my doors that all give different answers when you say, “Hey, good to see you here today. How’s your day?” One of my favorite parts of what I do is getting to meet so many amazing people. I see people at their highs and their lows. The thing with the gym is, a dedicated person is going to still come to the gym no matter if they had the the worst day of their life or the best day. I get to share in happiness and I do play therapist quite often and I finally sat down and put my thoughts together about what I’ve learned and my take on it. If you are someone who struggles with mental health, someone who tries to please everyone no matter what it costs you, or someone who puts all their hopes and prayers into one earthly person or component, I hope you get something out of this.

I've been thinking about that lately and what actually makes someone stable.

I look at life almost like a structure. You're the foundation, and the different parts of your life are the columns supporting everything you've built. Your relationships, family, friendships, health, finances, career, business, whatever those things may be for you.

I think a lot of people make the mistake of relying too heavily on one or two of those columns.

And sometimes I think we want something to be stable so badly that we convince ourselves it is, long before it's had the chance to become that.

Relationships are a good example. People want to find someone they can depend on, someone we can build a life with. Sometimes we want it so badly that they rush things, overlook problems, and place expectations on someone who hasn't had the time to earn that level of trust.

That doesn't necessarily make the relationship bad. It just means it hasn't matured yet.

I've been married for 16 years. My wife and I have been through a lot together. Good times, bad times, things we never could have anticipated. That's what has made our relationship such a stable part of my life. It wasn't something that happened overnight.

But as much as I love her, I can't expect her to be my entire world or the only thing holding me together.

The reality, though, is that none of us are guaranteed forever. As difficult as it is to think about, eventually we're going to lose people we love, or they're going to lose us. That's life. It doesn't mean we should love them any less. If anything, it should make us appreciate the time we have with them even more.

I think that's why it's so important to keep building other stable parts of your life.

And not every part of life develops the same way.

Friendships and relationships take time. Trust and loyalty are earned through consistency and shared experiences, not through some manufactured test of loyalty. Your health takes ongoing effort. Financial stability requires attention and good decisions. A business requires constant work across several different areas.

Some things are already established and just need to be maintained. Others need a lot more attention because they're still growing.

I think it's important to recognize the difference.

I also think we need to be willing to look at the things in our lives that aren't stable. Sometimes they just need more time and attention. Sometimes we've invested in something that simply isn't going to become what we hoped it would.

And sometimes we know that deep down, but letting go is harder than admitting it.

None of this means that having a strong foundation and a stable life will keep you from getting hurt. It won't. You can lose something incredibly important and be completely devastated by it. That's human.

But I do think the more stable parts of your life you've developed, the better chance you have of getting through those things without everything else falling apart.

And it starts with you.

You have to invest in yourself. Your physical health, your emotional health, your growth, your ability to recognize your own weaknesses and do something about them. You can't pour from an empty cup.

I don't think stability is something you just achieve and then you're finished. Life changes. People change. Circumstances change. You have to keep paying attention to what you're building.

I guess my point is that having one or two really good things in your life isn't necessarily the same as having a stable life.

Keep building. Not because what you already have isn't enough, but because you never know what life is going to take away from you.

You don’t have to be a “gym person” to belong here.

You don’t have to know every exercise, lift the most weight, or walk in already confident.

That’s our job.

We’re just people who happen to know this stuff really well, and we’re here to help you learn it too.

You just have to show up willing to learn, work, and get better.

And every now and then, take a little coaching from a kid who clearly knows everything.

Sevens was built for people who want to get better.

Yes, we have serious lifters, bodybuilders, powerlifters, and athletes. But we also have beginners, moms and dads, people starting over, and people walking into a gym for the first time.

We know Sevens can look intimidating from the outside.

But once you’re here, you see what really makes this place different.

We’re a family. We support each other, encourage each other, and want to see the people around us succeed.

You don’t have to be advanced.
You don’t have to know everything.
You just have to walk in.

Come in as you are. We’ll be here to support you while you become who you’re working to be.
