Handwriting practice doesnβt have to be just pencil + paper! π
Multisensory play helps kids practice letter formation, motor memory, fine motor skills, and confidence in a more engaging way.
Try shaving cream, water painting, chalk, play dough, or pom-poms. Or trace in sand, flour, rice, or salt. Switch up writing tools with different markers and crayons, or build letters using blocks, beans, buttons, toy cars, or other small items.
The goal is simple: practice the movements in fun, hands-on ways, then carry them over to handwriting.
