It's Future Friday, and we're creating connections that last! 💙

For JP and Louie, Jacob's Chance is more than a place to try new activities. It's a community filled with friendships, support, and opportunities that will continue long after high school.

This week, their mom Catherine and aide Sophia share how Jacob's Chance has helped create meaningful experiences for the boys, connect their family with others who understand their journey, and open doors to an exciting next chapter.

Watch their story and see what it means to CREATE opportunities that last a lifetime.

This is what your gift looks like. 💙

The smiles. The friendships. The first tries. The big wins. The everyday moments of connection and belonging that mean so much.

This October, our Give for a Chance journey is focused on CREATE—because every program creates something bigger than an activity. It creates opportunities to build confidence, make memories, form meaningful connections, and be part of a community.

These are the moments your donations support and make possible.

💚 World Mental Health Day Check-In 💚

What’s one little thing that helps you feel more like you when you’re having a tough day?

👇 Drop yours in the comments:

🎨 Creating something
🏃 Getting active
🎶 Listening to music
🌳 Getting outside
😂 Laughing with someone
🐶 Time with a furry friend
💬 Talking to someone you trust
🧘 Taking some quiet time
✨ Something totally different!

There’s no right answer. Sometimes, it’s the little things - and sometimes, it’s simply knowing you’re not alone.

At Jacob’s Chance, we believe that connection, community, and belonging matter. Everyone deserves a space where they can be themselves, build friendships, try new things, and know they are valued.

💚 What helps YOU feel like yourself?

This October is all about CREATE—and today, we’re sharing the Weis family’s story!

With three family members volunteering and one participating, they’ve created meaningful connections, memories, and a shared way to give back through Jacob’s Chance.

Hear how their family became involved and what being part of this community has meant to them.

Because when we create opportunities, we create connection, belonging, and so much more.

💙 October is a month to learn, listen, celebrate, and advocate for inclusion.

Throughout October, we’re recognizing and raising awareness for communities and causes that deserve to be seen, heard, and supported:

- ADHD Awareness Month
- Down Syndrome Awareness Month
- Disability Employment Awareness Month
- Spina Bifida Awareness Month
- POTS Awareness Month
- World Cerebral Palsy Day (10/6)
- World Down Syndrome Day (10/21)

Awareness is just the beginning. True inclusion means creating opportunities, breaking down barriers, amplifying voices, and making sure everyone has the chance to belong, contribute, and thrive. At Jacob’s Chance, we believe every person deserves a chance to be seen for their abilities, not defined by their disability. 💙

This month—and every month—let’s choose understanding over assumptions, inclusion over exclusion, and opportunity over limitations.

Join us in spreading awareness, celebrating differences, and creating more chances for everyone to belong.
