At what point did managing your gut health become a part-time job you never applied for? ๐ฉ
Seriously.
You're Googling symptoms after dinner. Trying to remember whether that probiotic helped or made things worse. Wondering if you should cut out gluten, eat more fiber, try magnesium, or ask for another test.
And somehow, you're supposed to figure out which of those things actually makes sense for YOUR body.
We see this with so many of the women who come to us.
They're smart, motivated, and willing to make changes. They've usually already tried quite a few things.
But they're exhausted from trying to piece everything together.
When we recently started working with Theresa, a 46-year-old woman who'd struggled with constipation and bloating for years, there were several things we wanted to explore.
We could have handed her a long list of recommendations.
Instead, we looked at what she was already doing and chose a few places to start.
For example, Theresa had been told to eat more fiber, even though she was already eating plenty and adding more made her feel worse.
So one of our first recommendations was to actually ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ฅ๐ถ๐ค๐ฆ her fiber a little.
We also looked at how she was eating throughout the day and what might be affecting her gut motility.
Meanwhile, we're exploring whether SIBO testing or a pelvic floor assessment makes sense.

That's a big part of what we do as Registered Dietitians in our Balanced Gut Solution program.
We listen. We ask questions. We look for patterns. We help you understand what we're recommending and why.
And we keep working through the plan with you as we learn more.
Because when you're already juggling work, family, and everything else life throws at you, figuring out your gut health shouldn't feel like one more full-time responsibility.
