Our Screaming Cupcake Decorating Contest brought residents and staff together to design, decorate and present an original cupcake for our judges! SO much fun for everyone, even the spectators! Special guests included a team from Meridian Senior Living, Glen & Cody.

We strive to engage all of our residents in our daily activities. Homestead offers Dual Programming! On Friday some enjoyed in house music with local students, while at the same time a group traveled to the Vermont National Guard Museum. Residents were happy to share their experiences with one another over lunch!

Busy Autumn days continue at Homestead! Homemade treats from a team member, handcrafted cards with one of our wonderful volunteers, and amazing monarchs brought to us by AIR! Thank you all for delivering smiles, laughter and beauty to our community!

Sunshine and blue skies made for the perfect Fall outing day! Our residents enjoyed leaf peeping on their ride to South Hero and Hackett’s Orchard. Hot apple c***r & donuts made the afternoon complete.

We had a wonderful time celebrating Assisted Living Week and joining in on all the festivities (even though we are Independent and Residential Care)! Our week was filled with smiles, laughter, music, creativity, and special visits from Bo & Dan, Artists in Residence, the Senior Singers, and Bayada, who also shared helpful tips on fall prevention.
We also celebrated our AMAZING Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Transportation teams!
So many wonderful memories and smiles made this week! We are grateful for everyone who helped make it so special!
