In this conversation with Daniel Adams, Mandy Hood of CoreMed shares an experience from before her time at CoreMed. While running a nursing home with more than 124 employees, she saw only seven or eight able to afford enrollment in the company’s health plan. Roughly half of those could afford to use it.

That's how Angie Sweet describes Care Coordination at Planstin.

As a Care Coordinator Lead, Angie specializes in helping members navigate complex cases, extended care, cancer, serious diagnoses, and other situations that may require additional support.

But for Angie, the work starts with something that can't simply be checked off a list: compassion.

From there, it's about supporting members throughout their healthcare journey and working together to find solutions when they need them.

Can employers reduce healthcare costs while creating a better care experience for their employees?

That’s part of the conversation between Planstin’s Daniel Adams and Dr. Touchinsky of PeakMed.

Dr. Touchinsky shares that some of the employers he works with have seen substantial savings—including six-figure annual savings among some groups with around 35 employees—while pursuing a different approach to care.

As Daniel puts it, the goal is bigger than savings alone: build a healthcare system that better serves employees and the businesses supporting them.

We’re celebrating 10 years of Planstin! 🎉

Last week, many of our remote team members flew in to join us for a week celebrating how far we've come—and the people who helped us get here.

Wednesday started with our Sales Summit and a day of training for the sales team. On Thursday, everyone came together for company training, announcements, and a chance to look back at some of Planstin's biggest accomplishments from the past 10 years.

Friday was all about the team. We met at the office bright and early, hopped on shuttles, and headed to Zion, where everyone chose their own adventure: canyoneering, e-biking, hiking, or a hot springs and spa day.

It was a pretty incredible way to celebrate a decade together.

To our employees, members, employers, brokers, partners, and everyone else who has been part of Planstin's story: thank you!

We're proud of what we've built over the past 10 years—and even more excited about where we're headed next.
