There are yoga teacher trainings… and then there are true initiations into embodiment.
Our 2027 Intensive Registered 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training is officially open, and I want to speak to what makes this training so unique.
Because this is not a training where you are handed information and expected to memorize it.
This is not a training where yoga is reduced down to poses, sequencing, cueing, and a certificate at the end.
This is not a training where you simply “learn about yoga.”
This is a training where you are invited to live it.
To embody it.
To understand it through your own breath.
Your own nervous system.
Your own practice.
Your own truth.
Your own becoming.
Because yoga was never meant to be something we only perform.
Yoga is a way of being.
And this training is rooted in that remembrance.
Our Intensive Registered 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training — Multi-Style Hatha & Restorative is an intimate, in-person experience taking place in Saint Petersburg, Florida from February 19th - March 7th, 2027.
And only 8 people can join.
This matters.
Because in a room of 8, you cannot hide.
You are seen.
You are supported.
You are guided.
You are invited into the depth of your own practice and your own voice.
You are not just another student in a large training trying to keep up with the schedule.
You are part of a deeply intentional container where the teachings have space to land, integrate, and become part of who you are.
One of the most special parts of this training is that it is taught by an actual teacher.
Not just someone reading from a manual.
Not just someone delivering information.
Not just someone checking off boxes.
But someone who has devoted years to the path, the study, the practice, the lifestyle, the history, the philosophy, the energetics, the body, the breath, and the deeper meaning of yoga.
That changes everything.
Because you can feel the difference when someone is teaching from embodiment.
You can feel when the teachings have been lived.
You can feel when the person guiding you has walked themselves through the practice again and again and again.
And that is what makes the learning different.
This training is not about taking in more information.
It is about allowing the teachings to shape you.
To soften you.
To strengthen you.
To clarify you.
To return you to yourself.
Inside this training, we will explore:
The 8 limbs of yoga
The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali
History and philosophy of yoga
Meditation
Pranayama
Dharma and karma
Anatomy and physiology
Sequencing and cueing
Alignment
Teaching methodology
Lifestyle and ethics
Energetics
Traditional practices to elevate consciousness and guide yourself and others into union
But again, this is not just about what we cover.
It is about how it is taught.
It is about how it is integrated.
It is about the way the teachings move from your mind into your body.
Because the goal is not to leave this training simply knowing more.
The goal is to leave this training more connected to your voice, your body, your practice, your purpose, your presence, and your ability to guide others with confidence and integrity.
This is for the person who understands, or deeply desires to understand, that yoga is not a workout.
Yes, yoga can support the body.
Yes, yoga can build strength, flexibility, mobility, and resilience.
But those are benefits.
They are not the purpose.
Yoga is union.
Yoga is remembrance.
Yoga is the path of coming home to what has always been within you.
And if you feel that.....if something in your body responds to that.... this training may be for you.
You will be guided by Courtney Bohlman, owner of Wholesome Alchemy, with over 1400 hours of registered yoga teacher training across Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Restorative, Nidra, Chair Yoga, Children’s Yoga, Ayurveda, meditation, herbalism, mindfulness, and Qi Gong.
You will also be supported by Dr. Yina Cuevas, a holistic chiropractor and certified Foundation Training coach, who brings a powerful understanding of the central nervous system, alignment, breath, biotensegrity, functional movement, and the body’s natural capacity to heal.
Together, this creates a training that honors both the ancient roots of yoga and the lived experience of being human in a body.
A training that does not rush the process.
A training that does not flatten yoga into performance.
A training that respects the tradition, the practice, the body, the breath, the energy, and the person you are becoming.
This is a chapter of connection.
A chapter of understanding.
A chapter of embodiment.
A chapter of truth.
A becoming and an unbecoming.
A journey back home.
A journey to union.
A journey to YOU.
