The families in our St. Pete FRESH Program received a fun addition to their bags of produce this week! Thanks to Kid Food Explorers for providing the Edible Parts of a Plant info to help inspire curiosity in the students throughout participating Thrive By Five Pinellas and Early Learning Coalition of Pinellas County schools. Our Health Education Manager also included a coordinating recipe supporting how to prepare the yummy parts of a plant. Please feel free to share and try with your family over the weekend!

A Good ‘Burger is a business, organization, or individual in greater St. Pete making a positive impact in our community.

In honor of a former mayor who referred to his citizens as “burgers” (as in St. Petersburgers), the Good ‘Burger Awards were established to honor those who contribute in a positive way to make our community special.

We are a finalist in the Community Conscious Large category! Thanks to St Petersburg Chamber for highlighting the great work being done through out the community! You can vote for us here: http://www.stpete.com/goodburger/

For a second year in a row, the Loving Friends of Sister Margaret Freeman will MATCH your donation, dollar for dollar, up to $200,000 to help support our neighbors in need!

As COVID persists, in addition to SPFC providing nutritious food for thousands of families every month, our programs play a crucial role in community health:

· Throughout 2020 and the COVID-19 Pandemic, the SPFC Health Center provided over $2,700,000 worth of medication to patients, treating various illnesses and chronic conditions, including diabetes. We help make sure patients don’t skip doses of insulin due to cost and stay current on medications that support their respiratory, cardiovascular, and overall health.

· Treating patients at the SPFC Health Center, and providing medications to our patients, prevents emergency room visits and enables our local hospitals to focus on treating those sick from COVID-19.

· You can help make sure families do not have to choose between paying rent or paying for much-needed medications by contributing to Full Plate.

We've raised more than $100,000 toward our $200,000 goal so far, and we hope you'll give today to contribute toward the match!

Our Health Education Manager, Mollie Holden, has been in the kitchen preparing this recipe for our St. Pete FRESH families. Pairing eggs with vegetables provides a nutritional benefit, beyond the nutrients provided by eggs. Recent work at Purdue University sponsored by the Egg Nutrition Center showed that when eggs are consumed with salad, absorption of carotenoids and vitamin E are enhanced.

Si pudiéramos ayudar como voluntario en el área de Miami, pueden contactarnos por vía de Facebook. Muchas gracias y que dios los bendiga por lo que hacen.
what do i need to do to get cat food for my cats? im in dire straits.
Does anyone know what an alternative to this clinic is for healthcare services that are not an emergency? I have been waiting for months to see a doctor and at this point, I think I should find an alternate resource that's ready to manage basic healthcare needs.
I have several unopened vials of Lantis and Novolog that I need to donate. No one will return my call. Do you even accept this type of donation?
Thank you, St Pete Free Clinic, for helping in all times of need.
I was so young when I left Florida but my dad got laid off and we were in a house fire and lost EVERY THING. Two nuns helped us out and they ran a FREE CLINIC not far from were we lived. Is this the same clinic they started It would do my heart good to know that what they started so long ago was still going on to this day. I understand that they left Florida to do the same thing in Alabama or Mississippi
LOVE THE PARADES
My wife has been trying to contact somebody at the clinic all this week. She has called 2, 3, or 4 times day, trying to reach anyone from the receptionist to administration. She has not reached anyone. NOT. A. SINGLE. PERSON. How can you help people if they can't reach you? EVERYONE can't be on vacation!
HEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY If you need help raising money for a charity or have a party. I have everything you need for Bingo I can come to you. BIG XOXO Stephanie Shippae'
