It's been almost a whole year since I started teaching myself to crochet. Can y'all believe I made this Art inspired face mask with NO pattern or tutorial. Just an idea and determination to figure it out!! I honestly never would have thought that I could make some of the things I've made already and I'm still just learning 🥹 so this is YOUR sign to start something you've always wanted to try, learn, or do because you never know what you're capable of. I can't wait to create more 🧶

A tribute of signs were placed at the Believe Plaza today for two men who were gruesomely found hanging from trees earlier this week in Mississippi, one a 21-year-old Black student at Delta State University on campus, Demartravion “Trey” Reed, and the other, Cory Zukatis, an unhoused man who was found in a wooded area in Vicksburg.

Both bodies have been sent for autopsies to determine cause and manner of death.

Well known civil rights attorney Ben Crump has been retained by Reed’s family. “We cannot accept vague conclusions when so many questions remain,” Crump said in a statement.
