UPDATE: First, thank you so much for all of the comments and messages of support and understanding. Surely we don't deserve them, but are deeply grateful all the same.
As for status of new inventory, we got our most encouraging samples yet (by a long shot) last week and so I'm very hopeful this translates into actual product soon, but even if all goes perfectly, it could be 4-8 weeks more. Finally, it looks like we'll have some help on the customer service front shortly! A longtime customer/d-mom has offered to join the team, and if she doesn't run screaming once she sees what she's actually signed up for, then we'll be working through the backlog of emails/short orders etc at a much brisker pace very soon!
My continued apologies for this mess and thanks for your patience. For those of you who have already filed disputes with your credit card companies, I have not contested any of them because there really is no way for me to do so in good conscience.
If you've been considering it but haven't yet done so, if you can hold out a bit longer, we will get your order refunded in a way that doesn't jeopardize our ability to accept future credit card orders as soon as we can (which, as I said, should be sooner than later once our new lifesaver is up and running).
