Amazing News! 🎉SB 1369 has passed in the California Legislature and is now headed to Gov. Gavin Newsom! We’re grateful to CDA for advocating on behalf of our dentists and ensuring better payment practices.
We are excited to share that the California Legislature has unanimously passed CDA-sponsored legislation SB 1369. This bill will reduce the predatory practices of dental plans and virtual credit card companies, barring dental plans from using virtual credit cards as a default method of payment and requiring them to provide an easy process for opting out of VCC payments to ensure dentists receive full payment for dental services they provide.
The bill now heads to Gov. Gavin Newsom, who has until Sept. 30 to sign it. Stay tuned for future updates. https://hubs.ly/Q02N_CTl0
