Update!!

Two weeks ago, Dr. Randy Rizor treated the first patient in an FDA approved study we are conducting using focused ultrasound to perform nerve ablations for low back pain. The procedure produces pain relief by nerve ablation comparable to the currently used radiofrequency ablation (RFA), without the use of needles, probes, injections, or anesthesia! We are the only group in the Atlanta involved in this groundbreaking study.

If you have previously been diagnosed with facet joint mediated low back pain or have had back pain successfully treated by RFA, you may be a candidate for the study. There is no cost for the evaluation, procedure, or follow-up and you would receive compensation for participating.
