Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties Enabling youth to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.

Since 1970, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties have played an integral role in the Sarasota County community, providing daily programs and services to thousands of young people. The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. The vision is to provide a world-class Club experience that assures success is within reach of every young person who walks through our doors, with all members on track to graduate from high school with a plan for the future, demonstrating good character and citizenship, and living a healthy lifestyle.

Opening Doors to those who need us most. 💙

Last week, we opened the doors of our Lee Wetherington Boys & Girls Club to friends and supporters for a special evening showcasing the impact of our mission.

Guests toured the Club, enjoyed a dinner prepared by teens in our Culinary Arts Program under the guidance of our friends from Gecko's Hospitality and Tripletail Seafood & Spirits, and heard exciting updates about the programs and opportunities shaping the next generation.

Special thanks to two outstanding Roy McBean Club alumni, Clarence and Lei'Asha, who also shared their personal Club experience, offering a reminder that the impact that the Club has on its members stays with them when they graduate.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and continues to believe in the potential of every young person who walks through our doors! ✨️
