After graduating with honors from Michigan State University in 1992, Dr. Anderson worked in Minnesota at a practive that mainly dealt with large animals. For several years after that she traveled throughout Manitoba, New Zealand, California and After Italy working primarily on exotics and for breeding facilities. In 1998 Dr. Anderson returned to her native Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan and opened Animal Kingdom Veterinary Clinic.

-MISSION STATEMENT-
Our Mission is to help people in a knowledgeable and understanding manner to maintain their pet's quality of life through preventative medecine and current diagnostic and treatment techniques.

-SURGERY-
All types of surgery are perforemed. Our surgery suite uses primarily inhalation anesthesia for your pet's safety and comfort. State-of-the-art laser surgery is available upon request and IS ALWAYS USED FOR DECLAWS! Our patients are monitored for respiration, heart rate, and oxygen saturation during the procedure. We manage pain post-operatively both while in the hospital and for use at home if needed.


-HOSPITALIZATION-
Hospitalization is necessary for many procedures and illnesses. Close monitoring, IV therapy, and other treatments are done under close supervision.
