🌔 July’s Full Moon in Capricorn was exact today, 7/3, at 7:39 a.m. EST. Being ruled by Saturn in Pisces, it's asking us to get real about the dreams we’ve been working hard on. Full Moons are not for release 🌝
Hey everyone! If you've done a Full Moon release ceremony and questioned if you did something "wrong" or doubted whether it worked... It may have just been the timing! Here is the full explanation of the energetics:
🌕 Full Moons are NOT the time to release! This was made up by the New Age spiritual community and does not actually align with the energy of the lunar cycle.
👉🏼 If you do a "release ceremony" around the time of the Full Moon and the Full Moon is not exact yet, then you’re doing it during the waxing moon. The waxing moon is the energy of INCREASE. So you’re trying to release during a period of maximal increase because it’s so close to full visibility.
👉🏼 If you do it after the Full Moon is exact, then technically, it’s a waning moon, which is the energy of degrees, but since the moon is still at full visibility, the energy of decrease is at its weakest.
🌑 So astrologically, the best time for RELEASE is during the Dark Moon (just before the New Moon starts a new lunar cycle).
💥 And astrologers typically do not recommend doing any ceremony during an eclipse as the energy is unpredictable and cannot be controlled or directed.
🌝 You're free to do what you want, of course, but don't say no one warned you! 😄
