💜 Two weeks from today!

I'm excited to share that I'll be participating in the **Phoenix Public Library Local Author Fair** on Saturday, November 7!

📚 **11 AM–2 PM**
📍 **Burton Barr Central Library**
1221 N. Central Ave., Phoenix

I'll be there with my memoir, *Crohnie kNOw More: Listening to My Body, Loving Myself Whole*, ready to sign books, meet readers, and connect with others.

Writing this book has been quite a journey, and one of the most meaningful parts of sharing it is the opportunity to connect with people through my story.

💜 A Wednesday morning I’ll remember.

Last Wednesday, I had the opportunity to share *Crohnie kNOw More: Listening to My Body, Loving Myself Whole* at Renegade Coffee in Scottsdale.

It was a special morning of sharing a reading from my book, connecting with others, and having open and honest conversation about my journey.

I'm grateful to Dawn and the Renegade Coffee team for welcoming me, to my family and friends who came to support me, and to everyone who took the time to listen and be part of the conversation.

I'm grateful for the opportunity to share a piece of my journey with others. 💜

I didn't take many pictures during my visit with my daughter last week.

We were too busy being present.

And honestly, I'm okay with that.

We spent our time organizing, rearranging, figuring out where things belonged—and talking, laughing, and simply being together.

I realized how easy it is to think we need to capture the moment instead of simply living it.

Sometimes the moments we remember most aren't the ones we photographed.

They're the ones we were fully there for.

I didn't think I was a writer, and I certainly didn't set out to write a memoir. I thought I was writing a cookbook. 💜

When I first took Bonnie Hutchinson's Write From Your Heart program, I was doing just that, working on a cookbook.

A few years and lots of healing later, that story morphed and evolved into Crohnie kNOw More.

Bonnie recently shared this short interview she did with me, where I talk about my experience in her program and the journey that followed.

A little author moment that made me smile. 💜

Last week I stopped by Dog- Eared Pages with a copy of Crohnie kNOw More.

I had such a lovely conversation with the owner, and he kindly offered to put one copy on the rack and sell it on commission.

It may seem like a small thing, but it felt pretty special to me.

I'm grateful for his kindness, for the opportunity to share my story in my own community, and for the independent bookstores and people who make room for local writers.
