If you wake up feeling lean one morning and by dinner your stomach looks completely different, you probably didn't gain body fat in 8 hours.
You're probably bloated. And one of the worst things you can do is panic and immediately eat less the next day.
Bloating isn't always a food problem.
It can come from digestion, stress, your cycle, sodium changes, suddenly increasing fiber, eating quickly, poor sleep, travel, constipation, or even a hard training session.
So before you start cutting foods out, try these first.
1. Stop randomly increasing fiber
More fiber isn't always better.
If you go from barely eating vegetables to loading every meal with huge salads, berries, high-fiber wraps and fiber supplements, your digestion might NOT love you for it.
Increase it gradually and stay consistent.
2. Walk after your meals
Nothing crazy.. Even 10 minutes can help get you moving, support digestion and regulate blood sugar after eating
3. Slow down when you eat
If you're answering emails while inhaling lunch in six minutes, start here ;)
Chew your food. Sit down. Give yourself a second to actually eat.
4. Look at your water + sodium
Drinking a ton of water one day and barely any the next isn't helping.
Same with eating super “clean” all week and then having a high-sodium restaurant meal and panicking when the scale jumps.
Consistency matters here too.
5. Don't punish yourself the next day
This one is BIG.
You feel bloated → you eat less → you add cardio → you get hungrier → you overeat → repeat.
Instead, get right back to your normal meals, water, steps and routine.
Your body will usually regulate.
Bloating is information.
And it definitely doesn't mean you need to throw your entire plan away because your stomach looks different today
Hope this helps!!
