The Menopause Society’s annual meeting is happening right now, and they opened the whole thing with lifestyle medicine.
Exercise. Sleep. Stress. Nutrition. Connection.
The basics. The foundation. The stuff that usually gets squeezed into the last 30 seconds of an appointment, if it comes up at all.

That’s what SISU was built on.

Hormone therapy can be life-changing. But your hormone prescription should come with a lifestyle prescription:

→ How much protein YOU need
→ How often YOU should lift, and how
→ What to actually do about sleep and stress
→ How to protect your muscle and bone while your body changes

The basics sound simple. Getting them right for your body, your stage of menopause, and your real-life schedule? Not so simple. That’s where we come in.
I’ve been a strength coach for over 10 years. I’ve written a lifting program or two. 😉 Now I write them right next to your prescription.

Hormones, weight loss, lifestyle, longevity, all under one roof.

If you want more than a refill and a “see you in 3 months,” book a consult at the link in bio.

📢🚨🚨 For those that don’t already know:🚨🚨📢

HRT and Hormone optimization is not only

“FEEL BETTER NOW” medicine.
Its also
“STAY STRONG FOR LATER” medicine.

Make sure your lifestyle choices and HRT medications are optimized accordingly. 💪

Let’s clear something up. 👇

Weight loss and frailty are not the same thing.

There’s a narrative going around that anyone on a GLP-1 ends up soft, fragile, and one stiff breeze away from a broken hip. I get where it comes from. We’ve all seen it happen.

But here’s what nobody’s saying: that’s not a medication problem. That’s a management problem.

Any time you lose weight, with or without medication, some of what you lose can be muscle. GLP-1s make it easier to eat less, and that’s the point. But eat less protein, skip the weights, and have no one checking in? Your body will happily hand over muscle along with the fat.

That’s what prescription-only care looks like. A refill, a weigh-in, and good luck.

Done right, it looks completely different:
💪 Progressive strength training (heavy for you)
🍳 Protein that’s planned, not hoped for
😴 Sleep and stress treated like they matter, because they do
📋 A provider who follows up, adjusts, and pushes you

Do that, and you don’t come out the other side smaller and weaker. You come out stronger, more capable, and a lot harder to mess with. 😏

And if you know someone who lost the weight and lost their strength with it? They didn’t fail. They deserved a better plan. Real oversight. A real strategy. Someone in their corner.

No medication is going to put your foot in the gym or your fork in a salad. That part’s on you. Making sure your plan protects your muscle, your bones, and your future? That part’s on your provider.

Let’s lose weight in a way your 65-year-old self will thank you for.

Nobody warned you about the joint aches. Or the 3am wake-ups. Or that s*x started to hurt. 🙃

Hot flashes get all the attention, but estrogen has receptors in your brain, bones, blood vessels, skin, and bladder. So when it starts swinging up and down in perimenopause, you can feel it everywhere: foggy, wired-but-tired, achy, and ready to punch the next person who asks what’s for dinner.

You’re not crazy. And no, it’s not “just aging.”

Two things I want every woman to know:

→ Vaginal dryness, painful s*x, urinary urgency, and recurrent UTIs have a name: genitourinary syndrome of menopause. Unlike hot flashes, these usually don’t fade on their own. They’re very treatable, and low-dose vaginal estrogen is an option even if you don’t need systemic hormones.

→ Bone loss speeds up in the years around your final period. That window is where strength training, protein, and the right treatment plan matter most.

Hormones aren’t a quick fix. No medication is going to put your foot in the gym. But the right plan can help you sleep, think clearly, and actually have the energy to show up for yourself.

Let’s do this in a way your 65-year-old self will thank you for. 💪

Access to medication is no longer the impressive part of healthcare.

GLP-1s. Hormones. Weight loss medications. There are plenty of places willing to write the prescription.

But who’s helping you build the habits that make treatment successful?

Who’s talking to you about protecting muscle, fueling your body, improving sleep, managing side effects, and creating a strategy that actually fits your life?

Because a refill isn’t the same thing as a treatment plan.

I built Sisu Health to fill that gap.

To bridge the space between prescribing medication and actually helping patients implement the foundational changes that support their results.

The prescription matters. But so does the education, clinical oversight, accountability, and long-term strategy that come with it.

Don’t just look for someone who can prescribe the medication. Look for someone who knows how to help you succeed with it.

That’s the difference at Sisu.

If you’re ready for more than a prescription, let’s talk.

You know what they say….
You can’t Biohack your way out of a crappy lifestyle.

Those who optimize what they can prior to starting a new intervention like HRT or peptides, usually respond better than those who don’t.

The more solid the foundation, the better the outcome.

Ever feel like you’re doing everything right, but something still feels OFF?

You’re trying to prioritize your health, manage your stress, and keep up with life—but lately, you just don’t feel like yourself.

Here’s what I want you to know: Not every symptom needs a prescription, but persistent symptoms deserve an explanation.

Hormonal changes during perimenopause may be part of the picture, including changes in progesterone. But we need to look at the whole person before deciding what treatment makes sense.

Your next step? Start tracking what’s changing, when it happens, and how it’s affecting your life.

And if you’re tired of being told it’s “just stress” or “just aging,” let’s have a conversation.
