Your skincare starts here.

Not in a lab. In a Missouri pasture, with cattle we raised on our own land.

After harvest, the fat comes home. It’s trimmed by hand, then rendered low and slow for hours until it runs clear and gold.

That’s the whole ingredient story: land, animal, hands, time.

Devotion over motivation isn’t a slogan out here. It’s what it takes to make one jar the right way.

I’m Nikki. My husband and I are first-generation ranchers in Missouri, building this place one fence post, one calf, and one 5 a.m. chore at a time. Cowgirl Earth Magic is where the ranch and the sacred meet.

This page is built on one belief: Life is the Altar. The dishes, the chores, the hard seasons, the quiet mornings with the horses. None of it is separate from your spiritual life. It is your spiritual life.

What you’ll find here:
🐂 Whipped tallow made from our own cattle
🍇 Small-batch elderberry syrup, made fresh every fall
🕯️ Fall tallow candles
🔮 Tarot readings + energy sessions
🐎 Equine co-regulation sessions here at the ranch

You’ll get the real ranch life, not the polished version. Mud, magic, and all.

Follow along if you’re one of us. ❤️✨

Soft, thick, warm all the way down to the skin. Built a little more every day as the light got shorter. No rush. No panic. Just steady preparation.

If you caught yesterday’s video, you know why I stop to notice this. 🤍

Comment ALTAR to see how deep this goes.

Two weeks ago they were slick summer horses. Now they’re fuzzy, thick, ready. Nobody told them a cold front was coming. The days just got shorter, and their bodies started building.

Same thing is happening to me. It’s happening to you too. We just call it “being behind” instead of what it actually is.

Your body moves first. Everything else follows.

This is the season I keep tallow balm in my coat pocket. Dry air, cold water troughs, wind. My hands take it first.

What’s your body been asking for lately?

No sage, no playlist, no quiet corner. Just a flatbed of bales and the herd coming.

For years I thought I had to leave my life to come back to myself. Get still. Get away. Get the perfect morning routine.

But my nervous system settles fastest when my hands are full of baling twine and my body knows exactly what it’s doing. Lift, cut, toss, repeat. The cows don’t care about my to-do list. They need fed. So I’m here. Fully.

That’s the altar. Not the break from the chores. The chores.

And when the day’s done, the hands that threw that hay get my tallow balm, because ranch work is hard on skin and I’m not apologizing for wanting the good stuff. 🤍

Where does your body come home to itself? Not where you think it should. Where it actually does.

The cattle get fed. The texts get answered, the dinner gets made and the house keeps running. And somewhere at the bottom of the list, after everyone and everything else, there’s you.

If that’s you, I see you. I’ve been you more seasons than I’d like to admit.

But here’s what I keep coming back to: you can’t keep pouring from a body you only tend once it breaks down. Your body isn’t the last thing on the list. It’s the altar everything else is built on.

Where do you land on your own list right now? Be honest. 👇🏼

Steam on the windows, purple stains on my hands, and the whole kitchen smelling like fall.

This is the part nobody sees. Measuring the berries, standing over the pot, straining it slowly, filling each jar by hand. Nothing about it is fast, and that’s the point.

Yesterday we talked about your body being the first altar. This is what that looks like in my house.

What does tending look like in yours? 👇🏼

Your body deserves that same care.

We tend to treat our bodies like something to fix once they break down. But your body is the first altar. It’s where your work, your family, and your magic all begin. And an altar gets tended daily, not just in emergencies.

Making elderberry every fall is one of the ways I tend mine. It’s a small, steady ritual my family keeps all season long.

What’s one way you tend your altar before it asks for repair? Tell me below. 👇🏼

You don’t need a ranch to know this one.

Think about the last time you walked into a room already carrying something, and somehow everyone in it adjusted without you saying a word.

Think about the meeting that went sideways the second the person leading it walked in wound tight, before the agenda even started.

None of that is coincidence. That’s your nervous system doing the broadcasting, whether you meant it to or not.

So here’s the mirror question this week: what has your body told on you lately, before your words ever caught up?

Comment ALTAR and tell me what came to mind.
