A little courage. A little mischief. And a whole lot of JOY. ❤️

Because audacity looks different on everyone.

For some, it’s saying YES to an adventure they’ve always wanted to try.

For others, it’s finding the strength to say NO to everyone else for once.

And sometimes? It’s dancing like nobody’s watching, laughing a little too loudly, or finally giving yourself permission to do something just because YOU want to. 😂

Here’s the thing…

I know what it’s like to keep going, keep giving, and keep putting myself somewhere at the bottom of the list.

And I also know how good it feels to make room for the parts of me that are playful, powerful, curious, and maybe just a little mischievous. 😉

That’s why I created Anchor to Audacity.

Not because women need fixing, but because we deserve experiences that remind us what it feels like to be fully ALIVE. To find joy in the unexpected, embrace a little adventure, discover strength we didn’t know we had, and build meaningful connections with women who encourage us to show up exactly as we are.

No perfect version of yourself required. Just YOU.

And maybe a little willingness to surprise yourself along the way. 😉

Different women. Different stories. And so much more in common than we might think. 💙

This is what happens when we create space to simply COME TOGETHER.

At our recent Gathering, there was laughter, conversation, new friendships, and a whole lot of connection.

No expectations. No pressure. Just women showing up as themselves, sharing their stories, and enjoying each other’s company.

And reading these beautiful words afterward? THIS is why I love creating these experiences! ❤️

Thank you to everyone who came, shared, laughed, and helped make the afternoon so special.

Because we’re truly BETTER TOGETHER.

Would you join us for another Gathering? I’d love to know! 👇

“I need a break.”

Me: From what?

Also me: EVERYTHING. 😂🌿

The emails. The schedules. The never-ending to-do lists. And the 47 tabs open in my brain.

Sometimes the best thing you can do is step away from all the noise and remember what it feels like to just BE.

A little nature. A little movement. A whole lot of laughter. And conversations with women who just GET IT. ❤️

Because taking a break doesn’t mean putting your life on hold. Sometimes it’s exactly what you need to feel more alive!

And who says a break can’t include a little adventure and mischief along the way? 😉

That’s the kind of experience I’m creating with Anchor to Audacity.

Think we just do Pilates in my studio? Think again! 💪

Pilates is the foundation of what I do with my clients, but strength training is part of the equation, too.

Here’s something you might not expect to hear from a Pilates instructor.

Pilates is NOT a replacement for strength training.

There. I said it. 😉

Do I believe Pilates is incredibly valuable for improving control, body awareness, movement quality, and helping us get more out of our strength training? ABSOLUTELY.

But we also need to challenge our muscles with progressive resistance. And that’s something I incorporate into my clients’ sessions, meeting them where they are while continuing to challenge them to get stronger.

Sometimes that means weights on the Pilates equipment. Sometimes it’s a chest press on a stability ball. And apparently, sometimes it’s an overhead press with a 17-year-old orange cat. 😂🐈

Because strength isn’t just about lifting heavier weights or hitting a number at the gym.

It’s about being able to lift your suitcase into the overhead bin.

Getting yourself up off the floor.

Trying the hike you’ve been thinking about.

And continuing to say YES to life’s adventures when you’re in your 80s and 90s.

That’s what I want for myself, and that’s what I want for the women who walk through my studio door.

Build strength now so you can keep living audaciously later.

What are YOU getting stronger for?

💪 Ready to build strength for YOUR next adventure?

I have TWO rare openings on my Pilates schedule! If you’ve been thinking about working with me, now’s your chance.

These spots don’t come around often, so grab one before they’re gone!

Can we agree that wearing this ridiculous hat in public qualifies as at least a LITTLE audacious? 😂

Every morning, I write in my journal: I live audaciously.

And this weekend reminded me that it takes STRENGTH to have a little audacity. Not just the kind you build lifting weights, either.

Sometimes it’s cooking for 19 people, opening your home, and bringing together women who have never met. That takes a little nerve, some stamina, and a very patient husband. David deserves a medal! 😂

And yesterday at Bloom & Breathe with Women in Business Roswell, it looked like asking women to pick up a Theraband, open their chests, and challenge their balance. Some even stood on ONE FOOT IN HEELS!

And sometimes it’s just putting on a crazy-ass hat and heading out for your morning walk.

Physical strength helps us do more with our bodies. But there’s also strength in showing up, connecting, trying something new, and being willing to look a little ridiculous in the process.

Strength and audacity are what I’m exploring in today’s newsletter (which, after this weekend, I’m still finishing!).

So tell me, where could YOU find a little strength to be audacious today?

10/16/2026

Being in the same movement class doesn’t mean our bodies need the same thing.

One person wants a challenge. Another needs a smaller range, a slower pace, or a moment to breathe.

In my teaching, I want there to be room for those choices. A modification is a way to make the practice work for you.

You can listen to your body and still be part of the room. You don’t have to keep up with somebody else’s version of strong to belong.

That’s a kind of connection I care about: with yourself, and with people who give you room to be yourself.

What does your body want from you today?

10/16/2026

And I’m just saying, that’s a pretty good investment. 😂💸

Because when was the last time you spent money on something that was JUST FOR YOU?

Not groceries. Not bills. Not another thing for the house.

YOU.

Imagine a weekend where your biggest decisions are:

🌿 ADVENTURE: Ziplining or exploring a waterfall?

💪 STRENGTH: Pilates, yoga, and discovering what your body can do.

😂 JOY: Laughing until your cheeks hurt. Possibly burning a marshmallow or two. No judgment.

❤️ CONNECTION: Meeting women who remind you that you don’t have to have everything figured out to belong.

And somewhere between the movement, laughter, adventure, and quiet moments, you remember something important…

You deserve to experience your own life, not just manage it.

Will a retreat magically solve all your problems? Nope.

Will you have to become a completely different woman? Absolutely not.

Come as you are. The joyful, peaceful, playful, powerful version of YOU. Even if those versions change throughout the day. 😂

That’s the experience I’m creating with Anchor to Audacity.
