First time here today and I don’t recommend taking your pets here, unless your friends and family with the staff. I read a lot of good reviews about this place so that’s why I decided to take my cats there for their deworming treatment. I didn’t feel welcomed at all ...the doctor and staff member didn’t really talk much unless I asked questions and just made me feel unwelcomed. They took both my cats to another room to give them their pills because my male kept spitting his out and being difficult. When I asked why they had to be taken to another room, I was told because there they had to wrap them in a blanket in order to administer the pills. I clearly don’t see why they couldn’t have done that in the room we were in. Makes me kind of wonder how it really went out of our sight. I did read one bad review that was posted 6 years ago by an individual with their cat and just thought that maybe that person was making a bigger deal than it was but now I’m thinking I could see that actually happening here. Also, when I called to make the appointment, I did inform them I didn’t have a cat carrier and if I could bring them in a towel/box etc....and was told that be fine. When it was time to leave, the doctor asked if I had a carrier and I said no and explained that I was told I didn’t need one. He went and got me a box carrier and put my cats in it and walked out. I noticed when I got home that I was charged $6 for the box . No, it’s not a lot of money and yes it’s better for the cats to be in it but I think it’d been nice to be informed that there was a charge and leave that for my decision. I called about the charge when I got home, they apologized but also told me that it clearly states on their door that they must be in a carrier upon entering the building. It’d been nice to have been told that on the PHONE when I did ask about it!!! Thanks for making this my first visit here unpleasant!
They do a great job of getting me in, and they answer all my questions. They are also good with my dogs.
