Our practice specializes in oral and maxillofacial surgery, which encompasses the diagnosis and medical/surgical management of diseases, injuries, and defects of both the functional and esthetic aspects of the oral and maxillofacial regions. This includes preventive, reconstructive, or emergency care for the teeth, mouth, jaws, and facial structures. Our goal is to help patients reach the highest

level of oral and maxillofacial surgery health possible so that they may enjoy the benefits of a functional, attractive smile. We pride ourselves on our thorough patient education, gentle treatment methods, well-trained staff, and quality patient service. We work in a partnership with other dentists, dental specialists, and physicians in the community to help ensure comprehensive care for our patients.

Dr. Tyler Haeffs grew up in Alpharetta, Georgia where he graduated with high honors and a Bachelor of Science in Genetics from the University of Georgia. He then attended Harvard School of Dental Medicine, obtaining his Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2018. He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of Illinois Chicago in 2022 before returning to his hometown and joining Georgia Facial & Oral Surgery. He maintains a certification in Basic, Advanced Cardiac and Pediatric Advanced Life Support and is a member of the Hinman Dental Society, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the American Dental Association. Dr. Haeffs enjoys interacting with and treating patients of all ages. His warm and friendly demeanor puts anxious patients at ease as he takes great care to create a comfortable and relaxed environment for everyone. His professional specialties include dentoalveolar surgery and wisdom teeth removal, dental implant placement, bone and soft tissue grafting, in-office IV anesthesia and corrective jaw surgery. He currently has privileges at Emory Johns Creek Hospital for high risk/complex cases. Dr. Haeffs is also the staff Oral Surgeon for the Georgia Swarm Lacrosse Team. During his free time, Dr. Haeffs enjoys playing tennis and golf, homebrewing, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. He recently joined other surgical team members from the practice for a mission trip with International Medical Relief to the Dominican Republic to provide medical and dental care to children. After working alongside Dr. Grant Hogan for a year, Dr. Haeffs has taken over the practice. He is pleased to serve the Suwanee, Georgia community for oral surgeries, treatments, emergencies and consultations.
