What a freaking beautiful day. ❤️
I was welcomed with open arms at Women’s Unity Day at the Nazareth Spirituality Center in Batavia, spending the day with 20+ beautiful women who showed up ready to grow, do the hard work, laugh, connect and tell that inner critic to take a seat.
We stepped outside our comfort zones with projects, role-playing, group presentations and plenty of laughter.
My group learned and performed sign language to Dolly Parton’s “I Will Always Love You,” turning that love inward toward ourselves. One of the women in our group speaks ASL and taught us and ya girl definitely got teary eyed. 🥹
We shared stories over lunch, wandered the beautiful grounds, soaked up the early autumn air and returned for more work, laughter, community and unity.
Then we ended our day with a renewing, restorative sound bath. ✨
My cup has runneth over.
I left with more tools in my self-care toolbox, more acceptance for myself and a renewed energy to keep moving forward. And I’m already welcomed back for next year!!! 💕
Then, because apparently the universe wasn’t finished with me yet…
On my way home, I spotted another sound facilitator, Jenny, sitting behind me at a red light, someone I hadn’t met yet.
So, in true Noelle fashion, I threw my car in park, hopped out and ran over. 😂
“Hey! You’re Jenny, right? I’m Noelle. I saw you in my mirror and I just had to come say hi!”
We laughed at my spontaneity, wished each other a beautiful weekend and went on our way.
I climbed back into my car with the biggest smile on my face.
Beautiful women. Beautiful connections. Unexpected moments. An early autumn sunset.
Sometimes you just have to stop the car and say hello.
Life is pretty beautiful, y’all. 🍂✨
